We don't know about you, but we never stop fighting the good fight against dry skin, especially come the winter months. Meet the most effective weapon in our arsenal. This dry oil—a lend of grape, hibiscus, sesame, and argain oils—hydrates parched skin and disappears in seconds without any residual stickiness or oiliness. Its antioxidant grape-seed polyphenols to soften and moisturize skin while restoring the skin’s hydrolipidic (read: moisture) film. Bonus: The multitasking formula works as a strengthening cuticle treatment and a nourishing hair oil. And the scent is truly divine, with fresh notes of Moroccan and Bulgarian rose, grapefruit, vanilla, and the subtlest floral undertones.
This oil did not smell divine. The oil sat on my skin for 5 minutes before I started feeling queasy and had to wash it off. And it didn't seem any more effective than olive or jojoba oil.1
Received this in my July box. I have really oily skin so this is not for me, but my mom has dry skin and she likes it.1
Very small amount. I dont really want to use oil on my face, so I tried it on the ends of my hair. Didnt really do much that I could see.1
This works like every other body oil product I've tried before. I don't really like oil becuase it leaves my skin feeling gross and leaves stains on my clothes. This does the same and kind of smells like old people. I'm glad it was just a sample.1
Am I using this correctly? I don't know what I'm supposed to with this. It seems too oily for my skin and not the right kind of oily for my hair. I'm confused.1
My skin is oily so I'm really confused on why Birchbox thought it made sense to send me oil for my skin. Total miss. Very disappointed.1
It's burnin' up. That's how my skin felt when I used it. I have incredibly sensitive and intolerant skin so most products, including this one, cause blistering and blood vessels to surface. It worked pretty well for my friend and it kept her skin hydrated. If you have sensitive skin this product is more than likely something you want to avoid, otherwise you're good to go.1
I used this product after receiving a sample of it, and my fine hair didn't agree with this! My hair ended up being the consistency of spaghetti noodles, if you get that visual! I didn't get the benefit of a good scent, either. Not a good product for me!1
The sample size of this product was literally a vial size. That certainly is not enough product to make an informed decision.1
I was really looking forward to trying this out when I saw it in my box, but color me disappointed. It didn't spread well, my skin absorbed it so fast it was basically pointless, and the sample size was too small to do anything with. I definitely would not pay nearly $50 for a full size. Way too steep in my opinion.1
