We don't know about you, but we never stop fighting the good fight against dry skin, especially come the winter months. Meet the most effective weapon in our arsenal. This dry oil—a blend of grape, hibiscus, sesame, and argan oils—hydrates parched skin and disappears in seconds without any residual stickiness or oiliness. Its antioxidant grape-seed polyphenols soften and moisturize while restoring the skin's hydrolipidic (read: moisture) film. Bonus: The multitasking formula works as a strengthening cuticle treatment and a nourishing hair oil. And the scent is truly divine, with fresh notes of Moroccan and Bulgarian rose, grapefruit, vanilla, and the subtlest floral undertones.
I might be blessed with normal skin, because I simply could not find a use for this oil. I applied it a few times to my arms and elbows before bed, and found the fragrance very nice and the weight of the oil pleasant. But it's not a product that I would add to my regime.3
I have really dry skin around my nails, so I was really excited when I received this sample in my April box!! I applied it around, and on, my nails with a q-tip before I went to bed.In the morning, there was a noticeable difference! Great product. For the price, however, I don't know if I would consider purchasing the full-size.4
First of all, this oil smells great. I wish it had lasting power because then I could use it as a perfume.
I know you're supposed to use this on your skin and hair, and call me old fashioned, but I just use body cream and hair products for those needs.
- Smells amazing!
- Good for moisturizing the surrounding area of the nail bed.
I have yet to use this as a substitute for my body lotion.
I have enjoyed using the sample on the back of my hands. They look younger. The oil smells DIVINE.4
I've used other oils that have felt like baby oil and very greasy. This one doesn't leave you feeling like an oil slick, instead it smells great and leaves you feeling moisturized!5
I'm not a fan of oils, as I have VERY oily skin and don't like to add any more. It smells ok, and it does make the ends of my hair soft, but it's not something I'll care to use on a regular basis. It's hard/messy to use on your hair, in my opinion. I'll stick with my Moroccan oil!3
I did not find this oil to be as fragrant as other reviewers described. It did not leave me greasy, but it didn't make me feel as though I had super softened skin either. I would not be interested in purchasing.2
I love the subtle but complex scent - definitely appreciate having such an interesting and natural scent wafting around me all day! I've been using it on my elbows and forearms - I like that it gives my skin a moist glow, but I'm not sure it's really accomplishing anything...yet to be determined. I tried it on the ends of my hair, but again, not convinced. Maybe I should have used more, but the sample is so small I would use it all up!3
I was wary of using oil on my face, but this didn't leave my skin shiny or make it feel gross. And the smell is truly divine, I would gladly use this as a perfume.4
