Between you and us, we’ve been secretly holding out hope for that ever-elusive fountain of youth. But until that comes along, this might very well be the next best thing. Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s favorite skin tonic, this best-selling hydrating mist refreshes skin and tightens pores while waking you up. Its subtle eucalyptus, orange blossom and rose scent is immensely refreshing. After one or two spritzes, you’ll see why this elixir was fit for a queen.
The smell isn't horrible, but it's not my favorite. It feels nice once applied, slightly tacky feeling. As for any differences, I haven't really noticed any. However, I bought it mainly as a refresher. For that, it serves it purpose3
I bought the travel size just to see if it really it was worth the hype. my favorite bloggers who actually have combination/oily skin are bragging about this spray. I'm sorry if I'm too honest but I don't understand all the hype about it if you have oily skin. I do think this will work for dry to normal skin, because it gives you a nice glow. But for me it made my skin "oily"glowing and that's not what I was looking for. Until now I haven't noticed breakouts yet. Other thing the scent reminds me of bathroom product. Thank God I used my Birchbox points and I bought the travel size. I will still keep using this one for my skin care regimen but not for my makeup.2
The spray is great as a toner during your skincare routine or as a refresher during the day. The smell is very strong and can make your eyes water a little bit if you aren't careful. The only major complaint it that the spray nozzle didn't work very well. I may have had a defective one, but it leaked. It also had trouble spraying sometimes and would spray sideways too. I got this as a part of a dry skin set and it certainly belongs there. It is wonderful.4
I ordered this mist for an upcoming business travel on a 16 hour flight. I wanted something that would counterbalance the dry cabin air but not be a greasy cream causing breakouts when I couldn't wash my face. This was near perfect. It has a slightly medicinal smell that sort of revived me and gave me a feeling of being clean and it seemed like it was toning or lightly cleansing. Both myself and my travel mate used the whole thing between the initial and return flights. My only complaint is that the bottle is glass.4
I'm in love with the beauty elixir. I use it in the morning after washing my face, then to set my make up, throughout the day to refresh and before bed. Being able to take a smaller version along in my purse is all the more convenient! Highly recommend!5
This stuff is amazing. I use it very often & I love the scent of it also5
I love the herbal scent and the mist is so easy to apply evenly over freshly cleansed skin. I love the beauty elixir - it is now part of my daily ritual.5
I am 40something and first read about this from a trusted fashion/beauty blogger and ordered it based on their blog write up. I was not disappointed. I use it before applying caudalie moisturizer and then throughout the day if I feel I need a little "refresh."
I also use the beauty elixir. You just can't go wrong with this line.
I always carry this product with me and am a firm believer in the Caudalie products. Give it a try, you wont be dissappointed.5
This is a lovely product and I bought the smallest size because I was unsure whether I would like it or not. Thanks to Caroline Hirons, I've been shopping away looking to create my perfect skincare routine and she's a big supporter of using spray on hydrating toners. This has been the most talked about spray I've heard of so I decided to try it out and I really do love it. It's a mindblowing amazing product but it does what it's supposed to and hydrates and refreshes my skin after using an exfoliating toner. I'm not sure if I would buy this again but definitely going to keep using it and hopefully see more results. For oily skin this is a lovely product.5
