Benefit’s daily cleanser comes in a chic blue tube that will make your other products look humdrum in comparison. Appearances aside, the gentle formula works into a creamy, meringue-like lather that softly removes dirt and impurities. And unlike some cleansers, it gets the job done without drying out your skin.
While I generally like Benefit, I didn't love this facial wash. I have sensitive, dry skin & this was too soapy for me. It did clean my face though. I was just a little dry afterwards. May be better for those with oily skin and/or those who like their face to feel really clean after washing.2
My face felt so smooth the first few times I use Benefit facial wash. I jumped the gun and ordered a full size immediately. After a week of using the facial wash, my pores were noticeably clogged. I guess the glycerin builds up over time.2
i love sampling skincare items from birchbox ONLY if it's a sample that will last me a month. I know that seems like a long time and a big sample but I feel as if you have to use a skincare item for at least a month for it to show you results. I received the bigger sample of DDF through my mom's august birchbox and she didn't like it. i've been using it for about a month and i LOVE IT! & only half the bottle is gone. that is the way to give skincare sample. NOT in foil packets.2
perhaps it's because I used it with the exfoliator, but this stripped my skin after washing it. i had to heap on oils and creams before the tightness went away.
it did remove all makeup, and left my face squeaky clean. al most too squeaky without any moisture
I am neutral on this product, didn't love or hate it.2
While my face did feel soft and smooth after using this, I really don't like how my skin seems to have a film on it after using this. I think it is the glycerin that makes it feel like it doesn't rinse clean. It reminded me of Noxzema that I used to use in the early 90's. The review wants us to answer if this product has anti aging or discoloration properties, but how are we supposed to answer that if we only have enough in the sample to use it a few times? I'd have to use a product for at least a couple weeks to notice properties such as those.2
I am extremely picky about my skincare. There was nothing bad about the product and it smelled divine but it is just not my style.2
The Benefit face wash gets your face squeaky clean and lathers very well. However, the scent is just too strong and perfume like for my taste.2
My skin felt really stripped and dry after using, but I do have dry skin to begin with. How am I supposed to evaluate the "anti-aging" or "reducing discoloration" properties when I can only use once, because of the non-resealable sample?2
This is a very generic cleanser. I think this would be better for younger girls.2
