Benefit is all about combining style with substance, so it’s no surprise that their buzzed-about skincare products look as good as they make us feel. This adorable limited edition set includes travel-size versions of Benefit’s refined finish facial polish, total moisture facial cream, and triple performance facial emulsion SPF 15 PA++. The chic packaging is totally gift-worthy and will stand out on any vanity.
I started using a prescription product on my skin, so I'm not able to try this product at this time. Good for a gift though!1
I didn't try the samples as I don't like to put moisturizers on my face. I have combination skin and any little bit of extra moisture causes my face to break out and become overly greasy. I don't really feel like I need the eye cream because I don't have circles.1
I tried these samples and although I like the eye cream, the facial emulsion left residue that could be wiped into little grease balls all over my face and neck. Yuck.
I will stick with my current moisterizer.
I am sure this product would be great for a lot of people but for me I broke out after using it. it did feel great going on and left my skin feeling well moisturized but I also have very sensitive skin.1
First off, the sample I received was not NEARLY as cute as the photo implies - I got 3 tiny squeeze packets of each product, like ketchup packs. Packaging looked clever, but held a disappointingly small amount of each product. Second, if you're going to offer an eye cream, PLEASE OFFER MORE THAN 1 NIGHT'S WORTH. We can't effectively evaluate the effectiveness of a long-term product if you're giving us a (very) short-term supply! I use several Benefit cosmetics, but I don't go out of my way to use moisturizers or other skincare products and was happy to throw this sample away.1
Having oily/combo skin, I have found oil free products work best for me. Oil-free products keep my skin clear and hydrated. These products by Benefit, although no doubt high-quality, are not for oily skin types. The face cream made my skin break out overnight. Smells great and feels great on the skin, though.1
My sample wasn't quite this, but had eye cream instead of the scrub. I'm glad, because the eye cream was the only one that I liked. The day lotion had a really unpleasant scent, and left my skin feeling greasy all day. The face cream was a lot worse, and I ended up washing it off after about 15 minutes because my skin felt like I had poured grease over it.1
This moisturiser was not quite right for me, my bare essentials powder make up separated and didn't last when I used this as a prep. The scent is a bit too strong for me to.1
I never use lotion on face, and this is a prime example. It made it feel soft at first but then waking up the next morning. I felt greasy!1
I was so excited when I received this product in my box. I tried it on and at first liked it but then it felt as though it was making my face sweat - like my pores couldn't breath. I like a lighter moisturizer1
