Constantly being followed around by a lighting crew to mimic the perfect strobe effect isn't ideal—a girl can dream, though, right? This skincare-meets-makeup cream helps tired and dull skin look more luminous and achieve that coveted glow—no heavy equipment required. In fact, the vitamin-, green tea-, and botanical-enriched formula is so lightweight that it blends like a dream to give skin a subtle lit-from-within radiance. The Silverite shade gives lighter skin tones a silver sheen while Pinklite reflects a pink sheen on light to medium-dark skin tones. When worn under makeup, it creates a base for all the products layered on afterward. On days when you're feeling a little bit more low-maintenance, it can double as your moisturizer or you can layer over your favorite one for a soft luminescence.
To start with, I am not a fan of the MAC brand. This primer is ok. Not the best primer I have ever used, but it does go on smooth and it also leaves a nice shimmer effect. It is not a product that I would use everyday to go to work, but it is something that I would use for special occasions such as New Years Eve. It is not a product that I feel I would be purchasing in the future.
2I thought this was just going to be another dang thing that I had to put on my face, but really, it's kind of nice.
I wear primer, foundation, and powder (gets rid of the 'shiny'), but it can really wash me out. My skin looks smooth, but it's lost it's luster.
This cream seriously puts it back!
A little shimmer under my foundation, and BAM! I'm glowing.
I can't rave about this enough.
I really wanted to like this product, however it is just too shiny. It applies nicely and I haven't used enough to see if it hydrates, however it just reflects everything off of me. I like a nice shine if done well, however this was too unnatural and just didn't look good with or without makeup.
