Designed by Apple veteran Justin Charlton, the Old Calgary Alpha Wallet is an ideal card and cash carrier for the modern man. Given the opportunity to flash this slim, concrete-colored design, you might actually look forward to the arrival of the check.
It's a good idea, however, I just never actually find myself using the product. Maybe one of these days I will.3
I love a good card wallet, but I find that the material here adds a little more bulk than I want.2
This wallet isn't ideal. It's cool for nights out if I have very little cash and just need to put my id and credit card somewhere less bulky. Mine didn't come with the leather so it really just looks like two pieces of felt sewn together. This would probably be better for some of my female friends for nights out.3
This wallet is cool looking and trendy but the functionality of it is tough to get used to. I tried it for a week and finally had to dig my old wallet out of the drawer. If you are used to traditional tri-fold wallets like I am, this might not be for you. It definitely gets comments though. Most women think it is very cool looking.2
Not useful. Seems like 2 peices of felt stitched together. Not functional. Not even sure more than one dollar or a card would fit.1
I didn't use this as a wallet, instead this is my business card wallet. It fits in the pocket and adds class to my business cards (IMO).5
I received this wallet in my December box. It did not resemble the photo at all. No leather piece on the outside. However, I do like the product. I holds what I need to carry and it not bulky.4
Love the look, you cannot go wrong with a combination of wool and leather. I got my Old calgary Card case as part of box and all it lacks is multiple card storage slots such, I use it mainly as a business card holder. But in this day in age, of the internet and social media it is only a matter of time business cards are dead. Good product, great built and look but the specific item I received lacked everyday funcationality.3
I was excited to try a new type of wallet. I have been a traditional tri-fold wallet guy forever. However, this is a weak attempt at a wallet. Needs at least a money clip on the outside. No use for this.1
Take two pieces of VERY thick felt and sew them together with a single opening and you have the old Calgary wallet. It is extremely cheap looking, although the stitching looks strong. The worst part about this product, which was a deal breaker for me, is that it is fatter empty than my current wallet is with 6 cards in it.1
