Inspired by the complex character of the world’s most iconic flower, perfumer Jerome Epinette set out to create an unconventional rose fragrance. The result is this brand new blend, which features rich floral notes undercut by a spicy, smoky trail. Romantic and bold, it avoids the cloying sweetness of most rose-based scents, with a concentrated formula that lends a single spritz some serious staying power.
I love the spicy/floral smell of this perfume; very unexpected and not grandma-like. But, it does not last very long on my skin.4
i like the floral scent and its not too strong. I think it is perfect for spring and summer! The sample size is great for my purse and you can get quite a few uses out of it.5
The packaging of the sample was horrible, but even though the real thing has better packaging, the smell was even worse. I didn't find it appealing in the least and certainly not feminine. I am particular about fragrances, but I can usually still appreciate a fragrance even if it's not my favorite. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review, but I didn't even feel that I could pass this sample on to a friend.2
liked the perfume but it was not for me. Too flowery for me5
This is definitely the best smelling fragrance sample birch of has sent me, I was pleasantly surprised. It had a florally/ spicy undertone, smelled great!4
I liked this, but already have Jo Malone's Roses perfume, which I like a bit better.4
I did not like the smell of this product. It smelled like something a grandma would wear3
This is a pretty little scent. I'm not a perfume wearer, but I'll keep this one around for special occasions. It's not too chemical-y, and has a light scent that doesn't overwhelm. I surprisingly enjoyed it.4
Smells like it is for a man, not a woman. It is also too strong.1
Usually birchbox sends a lot of Harvey Prince scents which are usually too cloying or overstated for my preferences. This is a truly wonderful perfume that I am strongly considering buying. I love it!5
