Just as a fine wine evokes a series of different flavors as it breathes, the very best scents evolve throughout the day. Designed by Atelier Cologne fragrance expert Jerome Epinette, Atelier Cologne’s Vétiver goes from fresh citrus grove to cedar forest as it mingles with your body chemistry.
I don't wear perfume much, so I'm not generally excited about perfume samples in general. I do try them, though, just to see if it might surprise me. This one is very bold and strong - almost a scent I would expect from a men's fragrance, but it's too flowery for that. I wasn't a fan, but if you like bold scents, this would definitely fit that bill. The price point was also a major turn-off.2
The scent is SUPER overpowering, and way more intense than anything I would ever purchase for myself.2
After trying the perfume I realize this scent isn't for me I guess I was hoping for a more feminine woodsy scent. Too masculine for me.2
I tried this perfume for a day and the fragrance was not for me. It was too strong of a scent that I wish I had never put on.2
It pains me to write this review... really it does. I absolutely LOVE this scent. It meshed with my body chemistry VERY well. I love the ever evolving scents, they were all my favorites. I love this scent so much that I bought the larger bottle totaling nearly $200.
So why give a cologne that I like so much 2 stars?
This cologne will leave you wanting more and more. It DOES NOT project very well. Mainly only when you first apply it. It DOES NOT lost very long at all. Maybe 2-3hrs TOPS. These two characteristics alone gave me an enormous amount of buyers remorse. I love this scent so much, but it makes me so sad all at the same time.
If you have money to burn and you don't mind reapplying or only need it for a short time... this is right up your alley.
The scent is nice but it isn't something I would wear to work everyday. Maybe for a night out but I tend to go with fresher lighter scents for every day use.2
I enjoy the scent it was very unique, however, for the price of this cologne I would not purchase it since it wears off too quickly throughout the day.2
It's a great scent. Although for a spring smell I would like something a bit more refreshing. --as it is spring...2
Has a nice citrusy scent to it, but I nothing overly exciting. I didn't dislike this cologne, but I was not overwhelmed with it enough to spend $64 on the full size version. I am happy with my current colognes that were much cheaper.2
The cologne wasn't anything new to me, and it was awfully similar to other Birchbox samples. Although the fragrance was typical, it wasn't a bad experience; just not for me.2
