I used this before straightening my hair and I was really pleased. Many of these products, if you put on dry hair, end up a big greasy mess if you're not careful. This product never showed signs of weighing my hair down. I was also very pleased with the sample size. It actually gave you a chance to use the product more than 1 or 2 times. Will consider this product when my current full size product runs out.
