A leader in Italian luxury, Bulgari fragrances are as distinctive as their head-turning jewels. The most recent addition to the line, Mon Jasmin Noir, is the brainchild of esteemed perfumers Olivier Polge and Sophie Labbé. It’s a sophisticated blend of florals and earthy notes — think Grace Kelly on a starlit evening.
I'm just not a big fan of floral/musky scents and this was very floral.. It's very nice for a floral scent perfume, but I'm just not into it personally. It'd be great for someone who likes summery/light/flowery scents. :)2
I've said it before - these little vials of perfume are not a deluxe samples. I can walk into any department store and walk out with 20 of these vials. They should be a treat, not one of the "deluxe" samples. You guys *know* what a deluxe sample of perfume looks like... come on Birchbox.2
Actually, I quite liked it, but have lots of other perfume right now. Possibly in the future, but I don't use perfume enough to hoard lots of it!4
I really liked the scent it was different. I am only24 and my husband thought the scent was good but a tad too mature for me. BUt overall we loved the scent just not for me! :)4
I am not really the type to change scents often, but this one grabbed my attention immediately and my boyfriend's as well. I wore it out to dinner recently and he kept leaning in for more, which is always a great sign.5
This was a beautiful parfum, and the scent is extremely sophisticated and OLD LADY-ISH! I love jasmin scents, but this was much too heavy - I think the Noir part in the name should have tipped me off. My friend Brandi, on the other hand, loves it, and I should mention that she fills her house with patchouli and sandalwood incense. I have given her my sample and am waiting expectantly for a Bulgari Mon Jasmin Jour! Vive la jasmin!2
The sample packaging was beautiful, as I'm sure the actual perfume bottle must be. The fragrance is definitely long-lasting, a big plus. The fragrance itself is quite nice -- it's just not "me". I have several faves right now for my various moods including Versace Versense, L de Lolita Lempicka , Clean Simply Soap & Yves Rocher Nature Millenaire [discontinued awhile ago but I hoarded it ;) ]. I have nothing bad to say about this product -- it just isn't for me.2
I can't wait to put this on my christmas list! I really enjoy this perfume.5
I'm not an expert when it comes to perfumes, i only own two or three. To me, this smelled a bit like men's cologne. Which isn't bad, i love the smell of cologne, i just wouldn't want myself to smell like a man.3
While the scent is the perfect mix of musky, woodsy, and floral scents, this was not the perfume for me. It is very much a formal event perfume, and is an extremely sophisticated smell. Someone of my age could never purchase this and pull it off, but i still love the smell!2
