We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
Took awhile to get the hang of it but it definitely is much safer and cleaner then using your nails.4
I am one who if I see a blackhead, ingrown hair or anything else, I fixate on it until I can get rid of it. Using your fingers just promotes dirt being near a fresh opening-aka more problems in the future. This little tool has been great! I just keep it in my medicine cabinet for when I get out of the shower. Only issue is it will leave a little indentation on your skin, but goes away after a couple minutes. I just make sure to follow with spot treatment so I don't get further issues in the area!4
Works well to clear stubborn clogged pores. Only complaint is the loops are a little large and Is somewhat difficult to maneuver in difficult areas4
I have been wanting one of these tools for a while. They are more expensive in stores so I am glad I found this on birchbox.4
This little tool works really great. Its really easy to use and very effective. Makes you skin very smooth. Very handy to have around when you need it.4
I couldn't get the same results my facialist does. The movement for using this is a bit hard to get down, sometimes I just felt like I was taking my face. But I still removed a lot of gunk. It really satisfied my need to poke and prod my skin, and I felt a lot better knowing I wasn't introducing bacteria into my pores.4
A great tool to have and handy especially for occasions of all kinds helps you achieve extra clean without spreading more bacteria but definitely sanitize before and after each use!4
I love this product! It is amazing how much junk you are able to get out of your pores. I like to use it on my nose and chin.4
No slip grip makes this easier to do what I'm not supposed to do.
Don't press too hard or you'll have to deal with the redness...eek. Flat side for pimples, round side for blackheads. Works well for pimples that are READY...don't force them out if they haven't peaked yet...ouch. :(
I absolutely love this tool on its own, and especially compared to other brands and shapes. I lost mine and the replacements I got were noticeably not as good.
I only rate it a 4 because it can be damaging IF you don't know how to use it. It's better to use after a shower when your pores are more open. It's also easy to press too hard or at the wrong angle, but if you do it properly, any blemish or blackhead can be removed with the added benefit of not getting bacteria from your hands on your face.
