We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
I can't help but want to squeeze a zit or blackhead if I get one, which usually ends up badly with bleeding and scarring. This tool is great because you can sterilize it and use it to help do some minor extractions without getting bacteria into your pimple or blackhead that can make swell and worsen. It is easy to use and really works wonders when giving yourself a mini facial.5
I'm the quintessential example of a picker -- and although we all know its a bad habit I cant help it. I use this tool as soon as I get out of the shower if I have any blackheads or whiteheads and it leaves zero scaring or marks. The worst part is a slight indent from the tool but it fades pretty quickly.5
I have been wanting one of these tools for a while. They are more expensive in stores so I am glad I found this on birchbox.4
So this is not something anyone like to discuss....but this is a great tool when you've got that blemish that just needs to be taken care of. Much cleaner and gentle than your fingers.5
This works just okay. It is better if you let the shower steam up the bathroom before you use it. I had pretty good luck on getting rid of the blackheads, but I feel like it made a few of the other blemishes worse. Make sure you sterilize it after each use!3
I have never seen one of these tools until I saw someone use it in a YouTube video. I get a ton of blackheads and this really helps me get them, I love this tool, it's kind of gross but let's be real, blackheads are gross. Definitely better then using bare hands.5
not really sure what i expected, but it is handy at times. i thought the "loops" would be more fine/wirelike instead of wider. it is fine to have it on-hand, but not something you cant live without, or would use every day. does a decent job on acne.3
Maybe I'm not using these right but I didn't have any luck with these. I don't use it at all anymore. I wouldn't waste the money.1
Also I wish it came with instructions. It doesn't seem to be that complicated of a tool but I am having some difficulty getting to the black heads around my nose. I think it's handy to have for the occasional trouble spot.3
I was hoping that the smaller side wouldn't be so think. You really have to push down into your skin to make it work. Maybe I'm using it wrong but I'm not impressed.2
