We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
It could be that I'm not using it right, but I don't really get this. Yes, it pops nasty whiteheads, and I guess it's less harmful to my skin than using my fingers, but it leaves such deep impressions because of the pressure you have to use, so I don't really get it. Also, it doesn't always get the pimples out when they're the awesome, really painful, deep cystic kind. I'll keep playing with it but I'm pretty ambivalent on having spent money on it.3
I have struggled with acne my entire life. Every time I go to remove an unwanted scare I hear my Dermatologist in the back ground. With this tool, I don't have that problem. I know that it is not damaging my skin like other options. Plus it removes blackheads in a flash.5
this can be an extremely useful tool if you know how to use it properly. I would suggest reading more detailed instructions before trying to use.3
This product did a great job at getting blackheads out of my nose but not so much in other areas. I have acne prone and oily skin and it was nice that I could see the stuff coming out. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for help in areas besides your nose.2
I wish that this came with instructions on how to use it. I'm not really sure what to do with it but it seems sturdy.3
As much as I try not to I pick my face constantly. This tool works great. I cannot believe how easily the blackheads on my nose are extracted.5
I bought this because I have problem skin that is prone to breakouts and whiteheads. While this tool advertises that it is more gentle on the skin, using it certainly felt like I was just asking for a scar. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but I feel like I would be better off using some tweezers instead.3
I used to have one of these tools a long time ago, but I lost it somewhere along the way. I was excited to see that Birchbox carried it. I use it all the time because I get horrible acne on my chin because of medication I take. This helps me take care of those blemishes, without damaging the skin on my face too badly.5
I used this product the second I got it. I was so excited for it! I have issues with black heads on my nose (who doesn't?) and this little thing scrapes all that gunk out of there. I must admit, I am guilty of popping the occasional white head, but this little tool keeps me from contaminating the zit with my hands. I do agree with other reviews that say it should have some instruction on the packaging, but I like this product enough still to recommend it to others. I might even buy one for my boyfriend.4
I have a hard time getting this tool to work for my on areas other than my forehead. Instructions would be super helpful!4
