We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
I've purchased a couple of these now. They work pretty well and are high quality.
My only concern is that the wire on the end can sometimes abraid the skin when you are using it. I have used tools of this type in the past and the loop was made of a flat stainless that dispersed the pressure better leading to less abrasion.
The key here is to press gently.
This item seems to be well made. I clean it regularly and it is going strong after about a year of regular use. I only use the non-bent end, though.4
I started using this with great results, less damage, faster healing. A wonderful addition to my nightstand. Wish I'd bought it years ago. Highly recommended.5
Recommend if you have a prob with blackheads. I had not used one before and am a fan now. Works great for getting blackheads gone.5
I really love this tool since I am so guilty of popping pimples and really doing damage to my skin. This nifty little tool has cut way down on my finger to face contact.4
I was eager to try this tool. I purchased it without any knowledge on it. I have given it multiple chances to impress me. I have not had good results... I don't see myself using it anymore.3
Great gentle tool. During recent rapid weight loss, my face really changed and I suddenly had blackheads where I had never had them before. This tool allowed me to gently extract the unsightly debris.5
Best. Tool. Ever. I try very hard to not "pick" at my face, for fear of disturbing my skin and spreading germs; this tool lets me get all the gunk out without the worry of spreading germs! it works great for ingrown hairs too. It's just the best.5
I've always been religious about skincare and have had good skin, but after I turned 30, I noticed that my pores looked larger than before and were often clogged. I tried everything - the Clarisonic, an OTC retinol, a prescription retinoid, a BHA serum, and various scrubs. While they helped, they didn't eliminate my clogged pores. For cosmetic and health reasons, I didn't want to use my fingers to manually extract the sebum from my pores, and I decided to try this tool, figuring I could always return it if i wasn't satisfied. Well, it's worked wonders, and it's especially amazing for the contours of my nose and the indentation between my lower lip and chin. FYI, if you go to a dermatologist to have your pores cleaned manually, they'll use this same tool. So save your money - just buy this and watch a few YouTube tutorials to get the hang of using it.5
This doesn't come with any instructions on how to use. I really wanted a tool that would help me keep my hands off my face, but it is still easier to use my fingers then this tool. I keep trying it though. . .2
