We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
I'm finding it difficult to use this tool. The smaller loop is generally easy to use on whiteheads but the other side tends to leave the same kind of marks around blackheads that my fingers would have done. I suppose preventing bacteria from entering my pores makes this a decent purchase, but the marks it leaves could potentially still leave scars. Perhaps I'm just using it wrong.3
This little guy can def get the gunk out, but if you mess with an area too much it can become painful. Only use after a hot bath or shower, not at 2am when bored.3
This was my first time using this type of tool. I found it very easy to use and loved the results. It allowed me to remove blackheads on my nose quickly and easily.5
Maybe I'm not using this tool right (even though I've researched online.) I feel like it makes my blemishes worse as the circumference of either side is larger then the impurities.3
I wish this tool came with better instructions. I had to watch some gross YouTube videos to figure out how to use it, and even then, it's taking time to figure it out. Sometimes I feel like I have to apply too much pressure for it to be worth it. Hopefully I'll learn how to use it better soon.3
Look, obviously using a tool like this on your skin yourself is not ideal, but sometimes you just have to take care of things. It makes the process clean and efficient. You can see what you are doing the whole time, so there is no guessing and checking. The area of irritated skin afterwards is much less than if you used your hands. This skin care tool is great for those little emergencies or doing some extraction during an at home facial.4
Would have been helpful if some information on how to use this tool so maybe once I figure it out I'll appreciate it more.3
I don't know how much more effective it is than fingers, honestly. And it hasn't been that effective with blackheads on my nose. Oh well!3
Very useful to remove blackheads and whiteheads after the a quick steam. It does hurt to use--but beauty is pain right?! :) Worth the money if you have these problems!4
This seems to work okay but not as well as I would have expected for a Tweezerman product. It's rather hard to get clean as well.4
