We’re all guilty of the occasional pimple-squeezing session. To make things worse, we use our fingers to perform the function. Not only is that an easy way to introduce new bacteria, but we’re practically asking for an acne scar. The good news? A little DIY facial work is okay if we use the right tools. This double-sided, no-slip skin care tool works to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads in a flash, leaving you with smooth skin.
This does just what is says, works great and the no slip/grip is great. I would recommend it for sure.4
I can't NOT pick pimples. So I got this little guy to try to make it more sanitary and do less harm to my skin. I would wait until a whitehead was nice and ripe, or warm up my skin with a wet washcloth, and then pull it off. Follow it up with some salicyclic acid. I found that the pimples always came back. Now I use Nexcare pads after popping pimples and it's MUCH more effective in keeping them from recurring, but I find that just sticking pimples with a sanitized needle is as effective as this tool, and you can do it during more stages of pimple maturity. Also when you use this you risk pimple juice (yuck) spreading to other parts of your skin.3
I ordered this bc I get a lot of pimples around my hair line from sweating at work and I was looking for a way to open them up so the medicine would be more quickly effective. I'm doing it right bc I googled it but i feel like I might as well be dragging a flipped over spoon across my face. I could see it working on HUGE pimples but the little cluster pimples are elusive this product.3
I like that is tool is easy to grip and use. I would suggest washing your face with hot water or laying a face cloth soaked in hot water across your face to open your pores. This will help when removing whiteheads and blackheads.4
Wow, this little wonder tool easily/gently pushes out blackheads/whiteheads from clogged pores.
Not to be used on a cystic blemish, but great for minor extractions.
Extractions are gross, but this is strangely therapeutic for me.
It works on most blackheads, but has issues when using on whiteheads. Still better than doing it myself and causing a scar.3
I love this tool! It gets blackheads out where my fingers can't. And it's a clean way to get black heads out.5
Clearing out surface-level acne blemishes is, unfortunately, a regular part of my skincare regimen, despite a rigorous cleansing and treatment routine. Thanks, genetics. However, this tool is just what's needed to quickly and effectively remove white- and blackheads without risking infection or irritation. The tool itself is small, easy to handle, easy to clean, and very sturdy, as befits the Tweezerman brand name.4
This tool works on larger blemishes, especially after a good steaming to open the pores. However, the shape makes it hard to apply enough pressure to clear out smaller ones. If it were more narrow, perhaps pressure could be applied more evenly.3
I love this tool. It is solid, well made, and effective. Doesn't damage my skin while effectively removing blemishes with ease.5
