There are many reasons to love this best selling cleanser, but we’ll limit ourselves to three: it dissolves makeup, clears up breakouts, and balances skin’s natural pH. The daily wash is gentle enough for sensitive and irritation-prone complexions, and rinses away completely—no need for toner! Whoops, was that more than three reasons?
It says it is a foaming cleanser, but it did not foam at all. I could barely tell where it was on my face. It definitely did not smell like grapefruit either. Actually, it smelled bad. I felt like I needed to wash my face again with something else. Did not like it at all.2
The sample size was too small to get a good feel of the product. I really wanted to like it, but with so little to sample, I don't feel comfortable taking a risk and changing my current regime.2
It was hard to say if the product was worth the money since the sample size was only good for 2 uses. I love the grapefruit cleanser I currently use, so I was very excited about this product. I'm not over the top happy with it enough to buy the full product until I run out of my current grapefruit product. From the two uses, it was light weight and did not irritate or dry my skin out -- I'm prone to both.2
I always love trying new face washes. Unfortunately this product was a let down. First of all, it didn't lather at all. Second, I really didn't feel or see a difference after using this product.2
I did not care for this. My skin is very oily and prone to breakouts so I am picky with cleansers. I thought the sample size was poor, but even after one use my skin was not as 'clean' as I like it to be.2
My dermatologist told me to keep my skin care routine simple... she uses Dove soap for her face wash for example. I use Dove and a fragrance free moisturizer and call it a day. I personally do not see a noticeable difference in the cleanliness or quality of my skin after using this product.2
I think I just don't like the Malin+Goetz brand. This is the second different sample I've received and the second one that to me smells like rotten citrus. I can't even get past the smell enough to rate the product on any other basis.2
For my skin this does not work well. I am sure it would be good for someone else. I would rather stay with what I use now2
This cleanser worked fine. My face was clean after I used it. I don't think it was any better or worse than my significantly cheaper drugstore cleanser.2
This is a pleasant-smelling, decent facial cleanser. It didn't lather terribly well. Overall it was nice, not spectacular, and not worth the price tag.2
