OK… So I was scared to try it at first, because when I opened it, it smelled a little bit like toothpaste. And when I accidentally got some on my finger, it felt a little bit like a cross between thinned toothpaste and oily lotion. Not necessarily horrible, but not wonderful either. I used it twice, because I hadn't been able to shower in a couple of days. After I got it into my hair, and leathered up, it felt nicer. It got my hair very squeaky clean and fresh feeling, but it didn't really do anything special to it. It didn't really help get rid of any friz or make my hair especially smooth or silky… And I was kind of hoping that when my hair dried, it would dry curly like it used to, or at least wavy. I don't put a lot of product in my hair, and I don't use a lot of heating stylers. I also usually let my hair air dry. Are used to have naturally curly hair, and I know that hair changes as people get older. It's funny, because I was trying to expect nothing at all to happen, but was hoping for too much. It landed somewhere in the middle… Maybe a tiny bit less. Got my hair cleaner than a lot of other shampoos. But I am a little disappointed that it didn't bring back my curly hair. Therefore, all in all, it's a really clean, pretty nice smelling shampoo, but it doesn't really have any exquisite or special properties, and didn't do anything phenomenal to my hair other than get it really clean.
