Oribe, hair stylist to the fabulous, knows that you have to give color-treated hair special attention. He's designed an ultragentle shampoo that effectively cleanses without stripping away any of that gorgeous color -- while also delivering repairing ingredients that help tresses stay healthy. Fruit-based bioflavanoids help to keep color bright and true, while moisture-storing baobab tree extract helps to rehydrate tresses. A potent combination of edelweiss flower, kaempferia galanga root, and watermelon extracts protects hair from discoloration, fading, and drying.
The sample was way too small so there simply was not enough. I didn't much enjoy the scent at all and my hair was left pretty tangled. Maybe it would have been better if there was more, i'm not really sure but I still don't think I would have cared for the scent. Certainly not enough to actually purchase the product.1
If your looking for a product with a light scent this one isn’t for you. Unfortunately the scent was so strong I wasn’t able to use this sample.1
This shampoo stripped a good portion of my color in 1 use. Not happy. Smelled good1
Not a fan of this. Love their dry shampoo. Shampoo and conditioner not so much!1
I tried this last night and found it similar to the sulfate free shampoos I've sampled. It didn't suds up well, was slightly drying to my scalp and had me shedding almost immediately. It's possible it is just me as I've had similar results before. My scalp may just be sensitive.
I have long, straight and fine, color treated hair.
this left my hair greasy and limp. definitely not buying.1
Love the smell! A little heavy for my medium thickness hair but the texture is great.1
This shampoo was fine at cleaning my hair and produced a good enough amount of suds. However, I was impressed by the end effect or the scent. I could see some people finding the scent to be nice enough, but for some reason, it reminded me of bug spray. After all was said and done, I felt like this dried my hair out, and didn't do anything to make my hair shinier or bring out the color.1
I had enough of this and the conditioner to try it twice. I have color treated wavy/curly hair. I ended up with way more frizz than normal and i don't feel like my hair was helped by this product at all.1
My first point is the sample was so small, .2 oz in a tiny packet one third the size of a packet of conditioner you get included in a box of hair color. You could never really know if it does anything wonderful in the long run. But anyway, back to the product itself. My hair is fine, curly and color treated. I let it air dry to keep it soft and in good shape. I have a cut that works well with my hair so I just let it dry, fluff it into shape and go. I used my tiny sample last night along with the tiny conditioner sample of the same brand and let my hair dry. My hair must have been traumatized because I look like a "before" photo! Frizzy, flyaway, thin and very unruly. The shampoo itself was not creamy at all and didn't really lather up like I'm used to. I will not be spending the big dollars on this shampoo. Now I'm off to do something about this hair.......1
