Oribe, hair stylist to the fabulous, knows that you have to give color-treated hair special attention. He's designed an ultragentle shampoo that effectively cleanses without stripping away any of that gorgeous color -- while also delivering repairing ingredients that help tresses stay healthy. Fruit-based bioflavanoids help to keep color bright and true, while moisture-storing baobab tree extract helps to rehydrate tresses. A potent combination of edelweiss flower, kaempferia galanga root, and watermelon extracts protects hair from discoloration, fading, and drying.
I liked everything about it. It smelled great, it lathered up well and did not leave my hair limp. I wish the size was bigger. I have shoulder length hair and I only got 2 washes out of it.
I liked this shampoo sample. it smells really nice and feels good on. it works up a good lather. I also liked the sample size!4
I really loved the smell it was great and it did lather quite well.3
While my hair certainly felt softer this morning after using the Oribe shampoo, I really can't attribute the texture to this one product. As it happens, I used a kerastase conditioning mask, as well as Oribe gold oil in my hair, so I can't gauge the effectiveness of the shampoo. If it had been sampled along with the matching conditioner, I would've had a better idea about how it worked.3
This smelled great and worked well, but I don't think it was so life changing that it warrants the almost $40 price tag.4
My hair felt silky smooth and light after using this product. I didn't love the smell- not good or bad- but I usually go more for shampoo that makes my hair smell delicious. Probably wouldn't purchase this product because of the price. But overall, liked the product.4
The shampoo was fine. It smelled great, but not really worth the expensive price. Also, I'm not a fan of sampling a shampoo without a conditioner. How are you supposed to get the full effect?3
This is the first time I've used an Oribe product. Overall the sample was entirely to small. I have thick hair and only got a single use out of the product and that was only the top layer of hair (I have extensions) and the ends of my extenstions. With that being said it doesn't deflect the fact that I I think it's a great shampoo. I really liked the scent and the fact that it lathered well and had a conditioning effect. It also held the frizz at bay and left the areas washed with the product moisturized..As far as preserving color I have been platinum for so long that I really don't need a color preserving shampoo so I can't testify to whether or not that is a true claim. I think the newly colored red heads wouldbe able to better let us know about that as red is probably the hardest color to hold unless you are like me and have been red headed for so long you wouldn't need it.I wouldn't mind sampling other Oribe products specifically conditioner serums or curl enhancers as my hair is naturally curly ,coarse, and bleached.
So I get it you give the shampoo and conditioner separate but WHY! How can I make a justified decision without both of them! Major bummer!5
I really liked this shampoo. I found it to be moisturizing. But the sample is so tiny.5
