Kiehl's Rosa Arctica Eye Cream

This antiaging eye cream is powered by the hand-harvested resurrection flower, a rare blossom that can survive over two years of drought by going into a state of suspended animation. When it’s hydrated, the flower returns to life within hours—and when applied to skin, it spurs collagen and elastin production for immediately brighter, smoother skin. This cream also contains naturally moisturizing cocoa butter and shea butter keep skin hydrated without any heaviness.

I really liked the sample so I decided to buy the full-size of this product. The product is very heavy, almost like a balm. It never seems to blend into my face all the way. Very Disappointed.

I don't understand the five star reviews on this
Purchased

I bought this based sheerly on the great reviews. I've been using it daily for about 2 weeks now and honestly, I just don't understand the rave reviews. First, I wish I had read the instructions better before ordering because you are supposed to warm the jar in a circular motion before using it. Huh? I have a limited amount of time in the morning for my beauty routine and spending "a few minutes" simply warming a jar in my hands in my case is just an unreasonable expectation. Second, the cream is the consistency of toothpaste. Be prepared to scrape some out of the jar with your fingernail in order to apply it. Then rub, rub, rub (too thick to dab) which is not a good way to apply eye cream to the sensitive eye area. Honestly, this product just isn't for me. I won't be ordering it again nor recommend it to friends. Pretty disappointed.

good, but pricey
Purchased

I got this partially because of the Kiehl's brand. Have been using it for about 2 weeks and it is ok. Yes, it moisturizes but it is very thick and i like something that goes on easier for the delicate skin under the eye.

I've been using this product for 3 weeks now every evening. I have seen no improvement in my crows feet. The cream feels lovely but it's expensive!

Not much of a change
Purchased

I have been using this product since late October and haven't noticed much of a difference. I don't start with significant wrinkles but I at least expected a change in under eye darkness. The claim for smoothness is valid but you can get that with a good moisturizer.

Unsure...

I was hoping to really like this product. After using the entire sample tube, I am just not sure that it really did anything for my eyes, in particular. Additionally, a couple of times, it almost seemed to make my eye area slightly itchy. That's not to say it's necessarily a bad product, but just might not be right for me.

Not good

I did not care for this cream. I had an allergic reaction. I do not recommend for anyone with sensitive skin or who reacts easily to fragrance.

Eh... I could do without this product
Sampled

I think i was most puzzled with the thickness and consistency of the product. Most eye cremes i've tried are usualy thinner and easier to apply/pat on under my eyes. I try to use light pressure when applying cremes or any sort of makeup on the under eye. This product was thicker like a balm and i could not simply pat on, i had to rub with pressue to get the product to spread and absorb into my skin. I did not use a lot of product for the fear of a bad reaction, however, my skin did slightly sting after about 15 minutes after applying and the area under my eye felt greasy and like there was a film on my skin. I may try the sample again to give it another chance, but i'm honestly not a fan.

Not good under makeup
Purchased

Kiehl's Avocado eye cream is my "must have" for moisturizing my dry 47 year old eyes. I tried this one, and even though it is very nice, it balls up if you try to apply makeup or concealer on over it. It would be fine for night time, but not before your morning beauty routine. I will stick to the Avocado eye cream, because it doe snot get any better than that one!
