But it wasn't. I've read such great things about this conditioner and I reallllllyyyy wanted to like it but it didn't do anything for me =[. My hair is straight and medium-fine, and this conditioner didn't detangle or give my hair any shine. I was really hoping it would be comparable to Alternas Caviar Moisture conditioner (I love that stuff but I know I need to switch it up so my hair doesn't adapt) but it wasn't. I tried it a few times hoping it would eventually make a difference but no luck. Not for me.1
Left my normally smooth tame hair as a frizz ball. It looked like I was out in the wind all day. It is shiny though.1

So I got two foil packets of this conditioner in my box, I took one into the shower thinking it would be enough. Yep, it was not - my hair did not feel hydrated to the point where I needed to condition again using my usual conditioner. The smell was nice enough and maybe if I had a larger sample I would have noticed and felt like my hair had been conditioned.1
Oribe â€“ â€œshampoo and conditioner for beautiful color.â€ Two samples arrived, and the shampoo smelled great. Again, very citrusy with a hint of sweetness. Unlike the body gel, this lathered REALLY well, and was an ample sample. The conditioner, on the other hand, was not as silky as I prefer (I like my conditioners to automatically detangle my hair and keep it detangled long after I rinse). Also, it didnâ€™t have a pleasing smellâ€¦it was similar to the shampooâ€™s scent, but it has a powdery after scent which is reminiscent of matronly cosmetics and fragrances (you know what Iâ€™m talking about). Maybe it was just me. Iâ€™m sure other people will really enjoy this shampoo and conditioner, but I wasnâ€™t crazy about it. Again, I do have another sample of it, so maybe Iâ€™ll change my mind when I try it again. Unlike any sort of Garnier products, my scalp feels clean, and my hair feels very light, which is always a positive.1
I first used the sample of shampoo, which I liked, I found the conditioner to be disappointing. First thing I noticed is that it had no real smell, I was expecting it to smell like the shampoo. The sample was a good texture, and enough to smooth through my hair and I left it on for 2 minutes or so while I shaved my legs. I rinsed it off and my hair started matting together a little bit, and tangle which is not something I've ever experienced with a conditioner. I had to brush my hair when I got out of the shower to get rid of tangles, which isn't something I ever have to do. I've been coloring my hair for 7+ years and have used many special conditioners, none of which ever caused my hair to mat up.1
Again, I was excited to use only to make my hair look & feel oily! Which is quite hard as my hair is dry! I won't be purchasing this product either.1
I am not sure this was the best shampoo for my hair texture.. It may be great for someone else.1
This was a small sample - I had to use the whole envelope for one washing of my long hair. Left my hair very coarse.1
I expect a lot from my conditioner...this had nothing. I had to use my leave in conditioner after I got out of the shower to get the comb through my hair.1
