This feels so good on my face and it smells amazing!

I was super excited to try Egg Mellow Cream
5-in-1 because it’s so popular on Birchbox - but UGH. It was SO DRYING - my skin felt parched and crepey - and my skin has NEVER been crepey. In fact, I’ve had oily skin for most of my life, though recently it’s become combination (oily t-zone, dry cheeks.)

At first, my skin was firmer and my pores were definitely smaller, but after a few days it was so taut, I was seeing wrinkles where I never had wrinkles. Ugh. I literally had to put on real moisturizer in the morning because my skin was screaming for a drink!

Egg Mellow Cream? No. Fried egg! Ugh.

When it said it was a moisturizer and a mask I was skeptical, but when the sample said I could use it on my eyes I literally rolled them! Now I’m on my second order! I’m an Avené devotee normally, but his stuff just feels so soft and fluffy when you put it on, and it’s super absorbent and doesn’t clog my pores. It’s perfect for travel, and for late nights & early mornings, since it really does quadruple duty as a moisturizer, serum, eye cream & primer after a long day or especially if you’re trying to get out the door fast in the morning. I haven’t trie it as a mask yet.

I thought this was a really pleasant moisturizer, but the consistency was kind of gooey and stringy. It really doesn’t matter after you rub it in, but it was slightly off-putting in consistency. I would still buy it again, but it gooey texture bothers you, I wouldn’t get it.

Listen to me when I say that this is the holy grail of moisturizers. I've tried almost everything out there, and this is it. This is all I need. I have "combination" skin that gets occasional acne, occasional rosacea, and sometimes very dry skin. This stuff feels good no matter what's going on with my face, and it noticeably feels calmer and looks better the morning after. It smells so good that when you put it on, it's an instant mood. 15/10 buying this again.

For reference, I have normal to dry skin and I used this during the dead of East Coast winter with sub-arctic temperatures.
This has turned into my HG daily moisturizer. Within a week of daily use, my skin improved considerably - more hydrated, fewer chin breakouts, and lightening of hyper-pigmentation. I have purchased the full-sized product, and two months later, I am still happy with how great it works for me.

This is the first firming moisturizer I’ve ever used that I can actually see a difference! I’ve spent way too much money trying to find the right moisturizer and I’ve finally found it. Love it!

It seems thick when you first apply it, but by the time you're actually done applying it to your face, there is no residue. Also, I find that when I wear it as my moisturizer at night, I definitely look like I've slept for 10 hours (even though I didn't actually use the moisturizer under my eyes - my entire face looks well-rested! It's a great moisturizer and the fact that it's a multitasker is wonderful!

I like to wear this at night either as my sole moisturizer or else as an eye cream with another moisturizer. It smells really nice too!
