Take a peek in nearly any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It's rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
As I am over 60 years old, I always love trying products to moisturize and protect without being too rich and greasy. This was a delight to use after a day in the sun and water and using under my tinted moisturizer. My skin looked dewy and radiant and I definitely loved the finish this cream provided.4
I absolutely love this cream, it is just such a shame that it can be too rich for my combination skin in the warmer months. It makes light work of dry patches, and soothes irritated skin.5
When I first received the sample of this product, I wasn't quite sure what it was, was it a hand cream sample? a face moisturizer? some sort of medicine? What? Not the mention the official prescription looking paper it came with. When I finally realized it was a moisturizer, I got online to read some reviews, and lo and behold, one of the first ingredients is paraffinum liquidium (a fancy name for mineral oil). Needless to say, I will not be using this product as mineral oil is pore clogging doesn't allow your skin to breathe. I find it quite disconcerting that the ingredients were not listed on the packaging. I'm so glad I checked and found out the ingredient before putting this on my sensitive skin!1
I loved the feel of the product and it was flawless under my makeup. Kept my skin smooth and soft. I have very sensitive skin and made it tingle a little. It calmed quickly though.3
You're never too young for eye cream! I use this every other night to keep my eyes area moisturize and smooth.4
Doesn't sink in like most moisturizer does. Kind of leaves a film, but this works when my skin is gross and chapped.4
This is a lovely, old-fashioned cream that I imagine someone's French grandmother would use. It's very rich and a little goes a long way; I have combination skin and usually mix it with a little water in my hand before I apply it to my face. It works well on hands and body, too. I feel like you could throw this and some sunscreen in a bag to go away for a few days and be set!5
It's just starting to get cold and I feel like this product is helping to fight dry winter skin. Soaks in and never feels greasy!4
This...this is amazing! I have problem areas on my face that turn into little dry flaky patches, which I hate. Makes it hard to make make-up look good. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré makes these spots almost completely disappear. I got this as a sample in one of my boxes and I am so glad I bought a bigger size. Plus, it can be used for so many other things. It's an awesome moisturizer and a great multi-tasker.5
Great moisturizer. I have a slightly dry face and I felt this was very moisturizing but not greasy. Love it. Not sure how great it would be for oily skin but it's been great so far for my semi dry skin.5
