Take a peek in nearly any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It's rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
This product made my skin made my skin break out so bad!!1
First off the sample sizes were very small. I did not like the packets. The packaging was HORRIBLE. The entire thing was written in french with no english directions, or even a hint as to what it was. I had to search for it on Birchbox.com to even find out what it was used for. After finding out it was a 24hour anti-aging cream I was sad. I am young and have no need for this. However I read more of what the product does (online of course as again the sample was in all french), and decided to use it anyways. It is supposed to have moisturizing qualities. It left my skin feeling very greasy. I used it on my face and my hands as I rubbed it in. Even after using soap the greasy feeling is still plaguing my skin. It is for this reason that my skin feels smooth. I really don't have wrinkles on my face so as far as that goes, I really have no comment. It does appear to have a semi-firming quality to it per the backs of my hands, however the feeling of the creme itself really over shadows its actual purpose. I would not recommend this product. I will say though it does not have a bad smell.1
This was a little too heavy for me - those with dry skin may love this!2
I won't use this because of another reviewer's comment about the mineral oil. Def not good for facial skin...2
When I first started using this product I enjoyed it, it moisturized very well. However, after a while it clogged my pores and left me extremely dry. Maybe it has to do with the mineral oil, I’m not sure but I would not recommend this product if your skin gets clogged easily.2
I really wanted to love this! It goes on nice and it smells really good, it has a nice clean scent. It's a great heavy moisturizer for the winter. Unfortunately it broke me out so I had to stop using it.2
I bought this because I was super excited about the sample I received in one of my boxes. The sample was small so I used it super sparingly (in retrospect, that was probably why I liked it so much). Using it sparingly, I felt like it made my winter dry skin more hydrated and smoothed out my face so I didn't see the pores when I put my BB cream on. However, when I got the full size and used my normal amount, I found that it left my face feeling super oily and when I washed it off, my skin was just as dry as before.
So, now, I just guess it is ok - it gives you a good foundation for makeup (if you need it) but the moisture effect only lasts until you wash it off. It is not a miracle cream and certainly won't fix dry skin... only camoflage it for a short period of time. I have gone back to my normal moisturizer and only use this in special cases.
I really love this stuff. It immediately makes my skin smoother, softer and brighter. I use this every night for moisture and hydration. Defintely will be buying this again!2
Come on Ladies we know a good primer should not take your makeup off. There was nothing rich about this cream
it felt like water. Not for me will not purchase
I received this in my monthly birchbox sample and I used it as a makeup remover (it is also said to be a primer). It did not work to remove my makeup, it especially did not remove my mascara or eyeliner at all. I did not feel a difference in the softness or texture of my skin after.2
