Take a peek in nearly any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It's rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
I received this in my monthly birchbox sample and I used it as a makeup remover (it is also said to be a primer). It did not work to remove my makeup, it especially did not remove my mascara or eyeliner at all. I did not feel a difference in the softness or texture of my skin after.2
I love this cream by Embyolisse! It makes my skin feel amazing and works great to take off my eye make up at night. The scent is a bit strong but I actually really like how it smells. I love using this especially at night when my skin is really dry. By morning my face feels silky soft. A little bit goes a long way too. At first I was worried that I would run out really quickly but it has lasted me several months. I recommend this only at night if you have oily prone skin because it can make your face really shiny through out the day. Overall, great product.2
I have combination skin, so I thought this would be great. Unfortunately, it made my t-zone super greasy. Also, what I really did not like was the smell — it was so floral and heavily fragranced, and the smell doesn't dissipate. I can't wear this on my face.2
I have combination skin. I felt like this was a a little heavy and felt that it made my t-zone area a little more shiny.2
This creasm feels great when you first put it on but on me it started feeling greasy after about an hour. It seemed to create shine in a bad way. Not for me and maybe not for others with combination or oily skin.2
I found this cream to be average. I didn't moisturize adequately with one application. I found it took multiple applications to obtain the level I desired.2
I have really dry skin especially in the winter. I was looking forward to trying this product and hoping it would be a miracle cream. While it does initially moisturize, it doesn't last 12 hours, let alone 24. I tried using it before going to sleep hoping my hands would be soft in the morning like they were when I first put it on, but it didn't work. I have other lotions that work better for my dry skin.2
This left my skin feeling greasy and didn't really sink in. I felt like I had to keep rubbing it in. I didn't really like the smell either. Not something I will be keeping in my makeup bag.2
I really wanted to love this product. It smelled lovely and applied with a lightly creamy texture. My face felt dewy and supple. But within 12 hours, my upper cheeks were stinging and irritated so I won't be able to use it any more. Too bad! So only two stars from me.2
Added this moisturizer to my normal makeup routine in the morning, it made my face feel weighed down. Also it didn't let my makeup lay right. Perfect for a night cream moisturizer though to keep your face feeling fresh all night.2
