Take a peek in nearly any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It's rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
I found this cream to be average. I didn't moisturize adequately with one application. I found it took multiple applications to obtain the level I desired.2
I have really dry skin especially in the winter. I was looking forward to trying this product and hoping it would be a miracle cream. While it does initially moisturize, it doesn't last 12 hours, let alone 24. I tried using it before going to sleep hoping my hands would be soft in the morning like they were when I first put it on, but it didn't work. I have other lotions that work better for my dry skin.2
This left my skin feeling greasy and didn't really sink in. I felt like I had to keep rubbing it in. I didn't really like the smell either. Not something I will be keeping in my makeup bag.2
I really wanted to love this product. It smelled lovely and applied with a lightly creamy texture. My face felt dewy and supple. But within 12 hours, my upper cheeks were stinging and irritated so I won't be able to use it any more. Too bad! So only two stars from me.2
Added this moisturizer to my normal makeup routine in the morning, it made my face feel weighed down. Also it didn't let my makeup lay right. Perfect for a night cream moisturizer though to keep your face feeling fresh all night.2
I got Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (24-Hour Miracle Cream) in my Birchbox. I got to use it for a few days but didn't notice any difference in my face. The sample size was too small. It wasn't greasy so that was nice.3
During the dry winter months my typically-oily skin dries out and I need something extra in my daily skin routine. I like this cream because it has a light mousse-like feel on my skin and does not leave a greasy residue. It is too much to wear under my makeup during the day, but it adds the perfect amount of moisture at night.3
I thought I would hands down love this cream because of all the positive reviews and videos mentioning this product. First off it is fragranced. I definitely prefer my skincare products to be unscented. Also I had a breakout after using it. It could have been something else so I'm willing to give it another try. But I would not purchase it again.3
I like his cream. It's very rich though and doesn't really blend well all over my face. Although, I do put it on the dry areas of my face and it works well to moisturizer them. It doesn't make my skin look oily, and especially considering how rich the cream is, I thought that was really nice.3
Ok, I might get some flak here by saying that this product is overrated. The second ingredient is mineral oil, that's why it can do most of the things people say it can do. And so can ponds cold cream, johnson's baby lotion (the pink), and nivea creme. It's a good moisturizer unless you are prone to breakouts and blemishes. That's because mineral oil can clog pores.3
