Take a peek in any makeup artist’s kit and you’ll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse’s cult Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we’re just as picky as the pros, you’d better believe we’re fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It’s rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn’t practical?
This cream is VERY nice on the skin. It leaves absolutely no oily residue. It almost feels as though you aren't wearing moisturizer at all. Perfect for slathering on right before you apply your makeup. It also doesn't have a strong scent which is very preferable to smelling your moisturizer all day long on your face.
My only beef would be that if you have particularly dry skin (suck as myself) you might find it not to feel quite substantial enough. It's not a complete let down, just not quite enough for me. But that doesn't stop me carrying it around with me everywhere to reapply when my face is feeling parched. Bottom line this product would be a total go-to for any girl any day, unless you're a part of the dry skin club ;)
First, i'm not sure if this really works as a makeup remover. At least not for me. As a moisturizer, I wasn't too happy with it either. It goes on smooth and velvety as described, however, after a while my skin felt inflamed and red--almost like it was TOO moisturized! It was a little bit itchy, too. Perhaps I just had a minor allergic reaction.. Or perhaps not, as the next time I used it it was fine, but nothing special. I appreciate the sample but I wouldn't purchase this product.3
I have rosacea so I try to mosturize as much as possible which was why I was so excted to get this sample. However once I used i didnt notcie any difference. In fact, my skin started to look very red again so I went back to my old mosturizer. O well.3
made my hands feel awesome and not greasy at all! I don't know if it's amazing enough not to buy other lotions that cost less, but it was pretty good. a splurge.3
I sampled this in January's box, but I just couldn't tell much difference with or without it. I guess it's ok. I wouldn't call it a miracle.3
I purchased the full size product because I have heard good things. While it does a good job at moisturizing, I've decided to only use to remove eye makeup because the second listed ingredient is a petroleum derivative and I am striving to not use any products with petroleum derivatives.3
This moisturizing creme captures that elusive blend of hydrating your skin while still remaining light and airy. After applying your skin feels so good and your face looks so clear. No greasy residue, just happy skin!3
I thought the texture of the miracle cream was nice-a little on the thick side. It did not seem to absorb too well and I felt as though my skin was left oily.3
I bought this product after reading a Birchbox blog article that said this product would help calm and soothe a red face, thus enabling my foundation to go on more smoothly (like a primer, but also a moisturizer - what's not to love about that description??) When I received the full-sized product, I was surprised by the size; I expected more product but found that 30ml is pretty small. Birchbox touts this as a multi-tasking moisturizer ("Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream") so I was disappointed that due to the size I couldn't really take advantage of the other uses, since I have to use so much of it on my face as a moisturizer. I bought this product two months ago and used it every day for the first few weeks, then started using it more sparingly as it dwindled; it's almost done now and I think with every day use it would be gone within a month, maybe a month and a half. It smells and feels nice on my skin, but I won't be repurchasing because I don't feel like I'm getting enough for my money. Also, it did not make my face any calmer prior to foundation, so I was disappointed by that claim (though I wasn't expecting miracles or anything, even though it is marketed as a "miracle cream"). Overall, I would say that this product is just OK but nothing special.3
Didn't feel like there was a big change in my skin. It felt like any other moisturizer to me. It was nice and applied evenly without making my skin feel greasy however. Overall a nice product, but not something I would necessarily buy.3
