Take a peek in any makeup artist’s kit and you’ll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse’s cult Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we’re just as picky as the pros, you’d better believe we’re fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It’s rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn’t practical?
made my hands feel awesome and not greasy at all! I don't know if it's amazing enough not to buy other lotions that cost less, but it was pretty good. a splurge.3
I sampled this in January's box, but I just couldn't tell much difference with or without it. I guess it's ok. I wouldn't call it a miracle.3
I purchased the full size product because I have heard good things. While it does a good job at moisturizing, I've decided to only use to remove eye makeup because the second listed ingredient is a petroleum derivative and I am striving to not use any products with petroleum derivatives.3
This moisturizing creme captures that elusive blend of hydrating your skin while still remaining light and airy. After applying your skin feels so good and your face looks so clear. No greasy residue, just happy skin!3
I thought the texture of the miracle cream was nice-a little on the thick side. It did not seem to absorb too well and I felt as though my skin was left oily.3
I bought this product after reading a Birchbox blog article that said this product would help calm and soothe a red face, thus enabling my foundation to go on more smoothly (like a primer, but also a moisturizer - what's not to love about that description??) When I received the full-sized product, I was surprised by the size; I expected more product but found that 30ml is pretty small. Birchbox touts this as a multi-tasking moisturizer ("Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream") so I was disappointed that due to the size I couldn't really take advantage of the other uses, since I have to use so much of it on my face as a moisturizer. I bought this product two months ago and used it every day for the first few weeks, then started using it more sparingly as it dwindled; it's almost done now and I think with every day use it would be gone within a month, maybe a month and a half. It smells and feels nice on my skin, but I won't be repurchasing because I don't feel like I'm getting enough for my money. Also, it did not make my face any calmer prior to foundation, so I was disappointed by that claim (though I wasn't expecting miracles or anything, even though it is marketed as a "miracle cream"). Overall, I would say that this product is just OK but nothing special.3
Didn't feel like there was a big change in my skin. It felt like any other moisturizer to me. It was nice and applied evenly without making my skin feel greasy however. Overall a nice product, but not something I would necessarily buy.3
This cream would be great for a night cream. I used it last night and woke up to a baby butt soft face. It also takes makeup off well. It only gets three stars from me though because it is a bit heavy. There is no way I could use it during the day with or without makeup. It made me shiny.3
I ordered this product after reading the review from the BB team. It sounded too good to be true- and only $16!? I would save I have normal skin, not dry, not oily. I tend to get hormonal acne in the chin area once a month, but nothing major. After just one use of this product my whole lower face broke out! I didn't realize it was the cream so I continued to use it and the problem worsened.
While it did cause me to break out on my chin I did use it on my nose for seriously dry skin and it worked wonders. This made me think that if you have "problem areas" related to acne, this cream may perpetuate the problem. However, it may work wonders on those of you who are not acne prone!
Since I got such a small sample of this product I don't know how well it works over time. From the few uses I got out of it, it seems like a basic moisturizer. On my skin, I noticed it was a bit oily and if you put too much it seems to just sit on the skin and not really sink in.3
