Take a peek in nearly any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. It doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
I have tried using this day and night when I am feeling lazy. It keeps my skin comfortable and soft all by itself even without a toner. There is not much of a smell and a little goes a long way.5
winter weather + my incredibly dry work environment = makeup disaster. My makeup will be patchy by 2-3 pm in the afternoon, without fail. That is, until I tried this moisturizer. Baby smooth skin all day, makeup stayed perfect. I've tried everything from low end to high end moisturizers and this little guy out performs every single one of them. Will definitely buy in the bigger size. I'm also a follower of the Korean Layering skincare regimen and I use it as my emulsion at night, but my last step face cream during the day, and so far it's been doing wonders for my makeup.5
This was one of the first items I sampled and I was very impressed. It's both a moisturizer and a make up remover which is genius! My skin feels so soft after using and it takes very little product to get the job done. Definitely worth buying.5
This is the BEST bottle of moisturizer I have ever bought (and that's saying something). I use this after every time I wash my face and even mix it with my foundation to give a lighter dewy look. It leaves my skin feeling and looking great!5
Fell in love with this moisturizer from the start. The fact that it's also a makeup remover is a huge plus!5
Full disclosure: I am a moisturizer-junkie. Lucky for me, my mom pushed moisturizers with sunscreen at me in my teens. I had problem skin then and, for most of my twenties, looked for balancing moisturizers.
Now I'm in my 30s and moisturizing is a full-frontal attack at all times of the year.
I love oils, I love moisture masks, and I LOVE this stuff. The oils I use at night usually need a little extra something to balance out my retin-a, and during the day, I usually want something along with my spf.
Really, really excited to have found this product.
I like his cream. It's very rich though and doesn't really blend well all over my face. Although, I do put it on the dry areas of my face and it works well to moisturizer them. It doesn't make my skin look oily, and especially considering how rich the cream is, I thought that was really nice.3
i love this so much! i have purchased a small and large version and try to conserve given the cost. it's rich and soothing. i have very sensitive skin and like to use this when my skin is red, itchy or upset. it soaks right in and my skin seems to say: "thank you!"5
Ok, I might get some flak here by saying that this product is overrated. The second ingredient is mineral oil, that's why it can do most of the things people say it can do. And so can ponds cold cream, johnson's baby lotion (the pink), and nivea creme. It's a good moisturizer unless you are prone to breakouts and blemishes. That's because mineral oil can clog pores.3
so I received a sample of this in one of my past birch boxes. I recently tried this as a primer. I have eczema and crazy dry and sensitive skin. Usually when I have bought primers in the past, they made my skin look cakey or it also looked like the foundation either separated or just really dry. I put my MAC hydrating foundation on top of this and now I probably won't buy anything else but this for a makeup primer.5
