Take a peek in nearly any makeup artist's kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. It doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
Finally tried this product that i got in a box a while ago and I am impressed. IT has so much use, and it really helped with bumps post-shaving and of course, moisturizing5
This moisturizer was light and easy to apply- and it really did make my skin feel like heaven. Simple packaging, and I was able to squeeze every last bit out of it. I agree with the silky feel of it- but I never tried it as a makeup remover or post-shave soother- didn't see that tip until writing this review! My only (slight) complain is that it felt slightly greasy while applying...but it's only a slight complaint because once it soaked it, it didn't feel greasy at all- just silky smooth.4
I have pretty dry skin in some places, and oily/normal in other places. This cream was able to hydrate my dry spots while keeping the other spots from feeling greasy. The smell is pretty light. It made my skin feel soft all day long!
I only wish it came in a larger size! I haven't tried this as a makeup remover simply because the size is so small. I've only been using it was a face lotion, and I've really liked it for that purpose.
I won't use this because of another reviewer's comment about the mineral oil. Def not good for facial skin...2
I know this is a hugely popular moisturizer, but it's just too much for my skin. I have oily skin, though frequently dehydrated, and my face was a shiny mess almost immediately. It never actually absorbed, it just sat on my face.3
I've always been someone who has bounced from moisturizer to moisturizer trying new things, but now that I've found this one, those days are over. The Lait-Creme thick and rich but still very wearable, goes on easily, smells fresh and light, and is super versatile. This is now my go-to morning and night, and I've seen my skin improve and stabilize since I started to use it. I totally get why it's a cult favorite, and even recently spied it in a makeup artist's kit while getting ready for a wedding - just like the product description says!5
I love this moisturizer. It's so smooth going on and really hydrates the skin. I use it as moisturizer and as a make up remover. It's very gentle and tough on make up4
My mom went to France recently, and I told her to go into a French pharmacy and ask for the best products. She brought bag a huge bottle of this for me, and I've been hooked ever since. I use it all over my body right out of the shower, and I use it at night and in the morning on my face. It sinks in quickly, and gives my skin a nice glow!5
I really wanted to love this lotion. It's thick and gorgeous, soaks in beautifully and doesn't leave that sticky feeling afterwards. And I love using it on my upper back, neck, as a post shave lotion, and on any little rough patches (elbows, my hands, etc.). Sometimes, I get dry, scaly patches on my face, and I just dot this on, rub it in and it is lovely. It seems almost too thick to use as a face cream, but I'm partial to lighter creams so that may be why I feel that way. The packaging is kind of strange - I thought it would come in a plastic tube, but it's metal, and very hard to control the amount that comes out of the tube. So that's a bit frustrating.4
I put this cream on every night before I go to bed and every morning when I wake up! I LOVE it. It makes my skin feel refreshed, moisturized, and silky smooth. I have fine wrinkles around my eyes and between my eyebrows and this cream has helped to significantly diminish these lines!5
