Take a peek in nearly any makeup artists kit and you'll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse's cult favorite Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we're just as picky as the pros, you'd better believe we're fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It's rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn't practical?
This at first was nice, but after wearing it for a few hours my skin got very oily. I still used my sample for eye makeup remover and that works great!3
I have to admit, I didn't want to try this stuff because I was worried it'd be too rich for my uber-sensitive skin. But the dry winter air in Arizona was finally getting to me (usually this time of year makes my skin flake off in freaking sheets) so I decided to apply this at night to my face and neck.
It felt. Amazing.
So then, at the urging of the Birchbox fb posting, I decided to try it under my makeup (I use the Wei To Go CC cream, thanks to Birchbox!). Oh man... I'm in love. I mean, I love multiple-duty products, like moisturizer+serums, but this was a fantastic alternative to makeup primer for weekdays (I try to save primer for when I'm going out). Moisturizing, but it left my skin so even (and I hate to say it, velvety) before I applied my CC cream.
I haven't tried it as a hand cream (I usually use Yu-Be on my hands/elbows/lips), but I can imagine it's perfect for hands.
Yeah, the price is high, but you use an infinitesimal amount each day on your face... a full-size tube would last forever. And honestly, Yu-Be cream is just as expensive, but I've had the same tube since September. If you're going to spend money somewhere, it should be on the stuff that goes underneath your makeup -- directly on your skin.
I have fairly dry skin especially in the winter along with sensitive skin. This product works great for me. It doesn't feel heavy, but moisturizes my dry skin well.5
This is such an amazing product! Silky smooth and very moisturizing! I love any product that multitasks and so this one definitely impressed me! Great price too!!5
This has fast become my absolute necessity! It seriously makes my skin feel softer than I have felt it in years! You must try this product! Love, love, love it!5
The lotion itself made my skin very soft. Goes on light and smooth like aloe vera gel. Wish the sample size was a little bit bigger, though. I only got to use the lotion 3 or 4 times.5
I was having a tough time with dry itchy skin and had asked my Dr. for something full of moisture to hydrate my face. WOW! Great timing....... Along came my 1st Birchbox gift. This product did the trick. It is soft, hydrating, and melts into your skin. No smell whatsoever:just beautiful soft skin. I highly recommend it for all skin types and all ages. This face cream does produce a smooth, fresh complexion without harsh chemicals..5
I got this sample in my Welcome Birchbox and I wasn't sure about it. Luckily it's winter and my skin has been super dry. This cream is great for this time of year, the winter months, but I usually have oily skin so I don't know how well it would work for me during summer, spring and fall. It has a creamy texture and leaves my skin smooth and prepped for make-up. I would recommend this for women with dry skin or mature skin. Overall great product.5
Received this in my birchbox and used it for a week straight - I have combination skin that included dry/flaking patches around my mouth/chin. After a couple days the patches were so much better, and after a week (right when I ran out of the sample) I wanted to buy it! Leaves no trace of product on skin and absorbs right in for a smooth feeling. Try it, you'll love it!4
Very effective as a moisturizer. I use it mostly for my hands as the smell is a bit medicinal and I wouldn't like that for my body.4
