Take a peek in any makeup artist’s kit and you’ll spy a well-loved tube of Embryolisse’s cult Lait-Crème Concentré. Since we’re just as picky as the pros, you’d better believe we’re fans too. This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish, thanks to generous amounts of soothing shea butter and aloe vera. It’s rich without being heavy, and can be used on all skin types. Plus, it doubles as a makeup remover, post-shave soother, and baby cream. Who says beauty isn’t practical?
I just used it once today as a makeup primer and it doesn't leave a greasy feel on my skin.4
This little tube really reminded me that big things do indeed come in small packages sometimes! I have extremely dry skin from between it being winter and the fact that I have lupus- most moisturizers just irritate and cause my skin to turn reddish. This moisturizer rocked my world today! I'm in the middle of a dry, reddish scaly breakout of dry skin patches andy skin has, by far, helped me the most. I'm ready to purchase s larger size, definitely.5
Seems to work well after using a few times. Not too much fragrance. Might buy in the future - not too expensive either.3
I really like this cream. It has a faint, pleasant smell and it moisturizes well. I use it as a body moisturizer. The metal tube is not my favorite, but I am able to squeeze out every last drop. I have purchased this several times now since discovering it before I took a trip to Paris. Love it!5
I discovered this product a few years ago on a Hollywood stars blog. It was hard to find, only online shops that sold French products carried it, but now I am thrilled to see it on Birchbox. The cream is just right, not too thin, not too thick. a little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling very soft.5
I loved the feel, goes on smoothly. Great moisturizer for my mature skin. I will puchase in the future, and definitely recommend.
At first, my skin seemed soothed and somewhat moisturized after using this product, though annoyingly greasy for longer than convenient. But I found that even after just a handful of hours, I would wash my hands and the skin would be drier than ever. The effect of this product is not at all long-lasting, it is not true moisturization, just a temporary, surficial effect. The smell is inoffensive and the texture is fine, but it just doesn't do what a moisturizer should do.1
So awesome I had to buy it!! Never had anything like this cream before it made my skin glow and it feels like silk!5
I used this on my feet. It was good. I thought it would be too thin, but it absorbed well. Will continue using daily.4
I received this as a sample and now I ordered the full size. I love that it works for various purposes. I mostly use it as a moisturizer but I have used it to remove my makeup as well. I really like how it feels on my face. Everyone in my household knows not to touch my Lait-Crème, I don't want to share it.5
