Our moms always reminded us to take our vitamins when we were kids. Now that we’ve left our Flintstones days behind, we’re opting for a different kind of vitamin: serum-filled capsules. Designed for daytime use, the Pro: Vitamin C10 capsules contain 10 percent pure absorbic acid, which brightens your skin tone while also boosting collagen production. At night, apply the Pro: Vitamin A15 capsules, which have 0.15 percent pure retinol to undo sun and free radical damage and soften wrinkles. They come in a convenient 28-pack disc, enough to last you for an entire month.
Ive used Retin-A before and it didnt irritate my skin nearly as much as this did. While it felt good going on, my skin immediately cried "surrender" and turned a wonderfully sunburnt shade of red. It took days for it to go away and made my skin hurt.
Because of the irritation, I also got to experience the fun of a breakout of acne!
I tried it once so far and the night capsule was so silky on my skin but the morning one made my face itch and turn red!!!! Yikes! I do not think for the price this is worth it....seems just like vitamin e oil that I can buy over the counter! But maybe it will do more for you!1
I followed the directions that were written on the little piece of paper that came with the capsules. I didn't really see a difference in my skin, however, prolonged use may make a difference; but at the price they are, I really don't plan on purchasing this product.1
The night-time vitamins felt good on the skin, but I used the morning capsule the first time and it felt like it was burning my skin. After giving it a second chance the next morning it burned a little less, but I don't think I would want to use it routinely1
While I liked the concept, this did terrible things to my skin- It's been a week and Im still trying to mitigate and reverse the effects. I applied the capsule as directed in the morning and felt a slight burning but went about my day. After about 5 hours my face was itching. I washed everything off and applied a soothing cream meant for sensitive skin from the derm.
The next morning and ever since, my face has been flaking, dry, and itchy, while parts of my face were literally still stinging 3 days later.
Dont know what the problem was but these are clearly not for me.
I have generally oily, acne prone, olive toned skin, for reference.
I just don't like this product. It smells funky to me.1
I'm a woman in my fifties and haven't seen a pimple on my face in many years, but after using these oily little capsules, my face broke out.1
I mean it is just vitamins, I don't all of a sudden feel more energized or healthier.
i can get cheaper vitamins with the same effectiveness1
The capsules go on really nice and smooth, and theres enough cream in each capsule for one application which surprised me. However, I have found similar products at significantly cheaper prices than this brand.1
