Our moms always reminded us to take our vitamins when we were kids. Now that we’ve left our Flintstones days behind, we’re opting for a different kind of vitamin: serum-filled capsules. Designed for daytime use, the Pro: Vitamin C10 capsules contain 10 percent pure absorbic acid, which brightens your skin tone while also boosting collagen production. At night, apply the Pro: Vitamin A15 capsules, which have 0.15 percent pure retinol to undo sun and free radical damage and soften wrinkles. They come in a convenient 28-pack disc, enough to last you for an entire month.
What an innovative product. Good find Birchbox! I'm excited to see how my skin looks after my samples are used up. It's great that you gave people enough to actually see how it was using the product for a few days. It went on feeling kinda greasy but my skin absorbed it right away and it feels so light on the skin. I'm usually nervous about trying new stuff on my skin, but this stuff seems like a winner.5
These left my skin bright and healthy looking. Love the clean feeling and it really seemed to moisturize and brighten my skin.5
I want to start by saying that I wish I didn't have an aversion to paying over $20 for facial products (but sadly...it hurts me to dish out the big dough). With that being said, these little capsules are incredible. The Vitamin A with definitely reduced skin inflammation and made my face much smoother. I have only used for one night, but I can't wait to see what affect these have on my skin after three uses.
I may have to break my $20 rule for these. I love them that much!
I'm fairly certain I've gotten these as a free sample with at least two other Birchbox purchases, and lo and behold, here they were yet again in my December box. Birchbox must have a surplus or something. At any rate, I'm overall not a fan of these, especially for the price. As another reviewer mentioned, you can simply by vitamin capsules at the drugstore, pop them open, and get the same effect for much cheaper. I'm also not crazy about putting greasy things on my face, so I just used these for my hands. It left them soft, but definitely not worth the money in my opinion.2
I loved loved loved the smell of this product and the way it made my skin feel!4
I mean it is just vitamins, I don't all of a sudden feel more energized or healthier.
the capsules were great, no complaints great texture.3
I would definitely purchase this item if I wanted to spend more disposable income on topical vitamins. Love the luxe idea of it, anyway!4
I was a little apprehensive when I saw I was getting vitamins in my box, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got three for in the evening and three for the morning and it seems like a nice product. I used one so far and the texture was nice.4
Ok, so I’ve seen these types of products around, and haven’t really tried them because I thought they’d be super sticky on my face. Much to my surprise it went on super smooth, absorbed right away and felt pretty amazing. The Vitamin C capsule did sting a little bit, but went away after a minute. I can’t afford this product though. No way, no how. Also, slightly disturbed after reading some of the other reviews in which people are taking them as vitamins? Hmm. Read the directions and you’ll be fine. Do not swallow. Please and thanks.4
