We love the sexy bedhead look, but our hair rarely looks hot right after we roll out of bed in the morning. That’s why we’re totally obsessed with this volumizing spray from celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi. All we have to do is lift sections of hair while spraying it from ends to roots, and voila! We’ve got sultry, tousled strands in less time than it takes to get a vanilla soymilk latte en route to the office.
I'm honestly not sure how well this product works because I can't stand the smell. I've tried to use it several times. But it smells so bad I have to drown myself in perfume. If they changed the Snell, I may change my opinion... but for now, no way.1
I wanted to like this, but I could not stand the scent. It definitely gave my hair texture, but I would not purchase it.1
I felt the spray was too strong and the smell was unpleasant. It did the job, but I would rather have something that smells better and doesn't blow my hair all over the place when it sprays!1
I was really excited to see this in my November Birchbox and couldn't wait to try it. While I like the way it made my hair look, it left it with a strange texture and the product smelled so badly that I had to toss it after the first use. It gave me a brutal headache and made my place smell like burnt plastic. Bummer.1
This product works great. I liked what it did to my tresses. I can't get past the horrible smell though (think mushroomy, Chineese food). I tried to brush it out but that didn't work so I put in all sorts of other product because I didn't have time to wash my hair. If it smelled better I would use it!
I would spray it in according to the directions, didn't feel that it did anything. No volume or texture added.1
I have shoulder-blade long, relatively fine hair and I was excited to get to sample this texturizing product. I applied it according to the directions - tip to roots, and...meh. It gave my hair an overly-sticky look and feel, and actually went past "sexy tousled bedhead" to "rat's nest" even with just a light application. Loved the scent, but sure didn't love either the look, feel, or the difficulty in washing it out again. I'll pass, Oscar, but thanks for trying!1
This product smells like sunless tanner and just feels like hairspray. I had crunchy stiff hair after using this product. It is definitely not for me.1
The hairspray smelled terrible! I couldn't believe that this was a sample. I brought the hairspray with me on vacation because it was a small bottle, and used it the first night we went out. Big Mistake! I felt like I had to put on extra perfume to get the bad hairspray smell away from me. The spray did hold my hair, but it was a stronger hold then what I needed. So, overall I would never buy this product.1
I'm sorry...the first thing I noticed about the product was the smell that came from it. It didn't smell nail polish/fume-chemical-esque, but I really didn't like it...musty, maybe a little bit like aging polished wood (that smell you get when you're at the museum and you pass by old polished desks and chairs)? In general, my hair is quite long, and I have yet to find a spray that can hold up curls I put into my hair; needless to say, this one isn't it for me either1
