We love the sexy bedhead look, but our hair rarely looks hot right after we roll out of bed in the morning. That’s why we’re totally obsessed with this volumizing spray from celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi. All we have to do is lift sections of hair while spraying it from ends to roots, and voila! We’ve got sultry, tousled strands in less time than it takes to get a vanilla soymilk latte en route to the office.
I am constantly looking for products to add volume to my extremely fine hair. I have a lot of it, but it is FINE. The worst. This product helped me get volume without additional sticky or dirty feeling particles latched to my roots. It was very light. The only thing that was a downer to me was the smell, it was just a bit overwhelming so when you use it, make sure you have a window open! Definitely not a big enough deal for me to not purchase the product though!4
I love this spray. It is perfect for the second-day hair - I spray it on (my hair is fine and thin) and then put it in a ponytail. It looks fresh and gives it some extra oomph and hold. As soon as this came back in stock, I bought the full size.4
The product works pretty well, but my hair is kinda stiff and a bit frizzy when using it, but it calms down pretty fast if you smooth it down with your hands. Also, the smell isn't the best, but it goes away after you spray it. I prefer a more flexible touchable hold, but it looks great.3
Maybe my hair is too thick to have noticed this product working, but I notice absolutely no difference, other than I can smell it. Almost like spraying air on your hair. Perhaps for very fine hair it would help to volumize, but from someone with thick hair who is always looking for volume, this made 0 impact.1
I personally don't like sprays as it tends to clump up my hair. This was an ok product. It gave some volume, but the way it left my hair after was not very pleasing.2
This spray was great. It gave my hair a big boost without leaving a weird texture or filminess like I've gotten from other volume sprays. It even smelled really good!5
This product made my hair feel like straw. I use dry shampoo occassionally but this product was way too heavy for my hair. I do have fine, thinner hair so maybe this would work better for someone with thicker, more textured hair.2
I really did not see a change with my hair after using this product. Perhaps it is my hair's texture that makes the difference since I have wavy hair?3
I used this on my hair the day before I normally wash. It kept my hair in a side braid nicely, without pieces falling out. I also like that it helped with the oily feeling on my roots. I'm not sure I liked the way my hair felt, but it's a texturizing spray, so that's expected.3
If you're looking for an 'in-between' styling spray, that will give your hair that extra little kick: this is a good choice. I wouldn't call this a final hairspray, as it doesn't have much 'hold'. But to get your hair worked up to where you want it, I would use this.4
