We love the sexy bedhead look, but our hair rarely looks hot right after we roll out of bed in the morning. That’s why we’re totally obsessed with this volumizing spray from celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi. All we have to do is lift sections of hair while spraying it from ends to roots, and voila! We’ve got sultry, tousled strands in less time than it takes to get a vanilla soymilk latte en route to the office.
Hairspray, right? Volumizer? I don't know. It worked for me as hairspray typically does, so for the price I don't know that I would justify buying a full size product.3
So love the product. It really helps with volume and smells so good. I used it on a model on a shoot and she loved it too. Thought the size sent in the box was awesome. Well worth the money spent good sample size for sure. I would recommend this to everyone. It doesnt make your hair sticky or hard it was perfect.5
This product was great for texture and volume, however the smell was just horrible. I would never want my hair to smell like that. I had to leave the room after I sprayed it in.3
I find it so amazing that this product wasn't 5 stars for everyone!! I'm sure it depends on how much you use and your hair type, but I personally found this to be my most favorite Birchbox product yet!!!! I have medium thick hair with some damage from highlighting so many years. My hair can be very fickle on when it will look great and when it's just "okay". But, this product was AWESOME- not too sticky or stiff. I used it on 2nd day hair, and sprayed it gently from ends to roots. I then re styled with the hairdryer and my hair looked fantastic! It held it's shape/layers ALL day, but not like hairspray (so if you want stiff, this isn't for you). I will definitely buy the full size and, as I said, use just enough to "help my hair" but not coat it like hairspray! IF you use this right, I think you'll LOVE this as much as I do!!5
It wasn't all that great. It came out really hard and was leaving hard patches on my hair
This product is amazing. It smells great, and feels great in my hair. I use it in the crown of my hair so that it give me a little extra volume, esp. if I wear my hair curly.5
My first impression of this spray was that it had a strange sour scent. I have unruly wavy hair that has to be straightened with a straightening iron to look decent.
I followed the directions, spraying my straightened hair from ends to roots as I lifted up. My hair flopped back down, every bit as flat as usual. If I fluffed it a bit, it would stay up for a little while. But it would do the same with a light hair spray too and probably stay that way better. While this product doesn't leave my hair feeling as sticky as a hair spray, I don't think it's worth the difference.
this gives TONS of body. my only complaint is that I don't love the smell. I have never had a product that gives this much body though so it's worth it.5
I don't like this on my fine, straight hair. Too sticky and the hair feels really dirty when you use it. Oribe Texturizing Spray is way better!2
I really loved this product, and I was so excited to see it in my birchbox because I had been wanting to try it. It texturized my fine hair very well, without being sticky (although there is texture in your hair). It just made my hair look better. I also heard that it has good things for you hair, so it makes it healthier when you wear it.
I have fine, very straight hair.
