We’ve bestowed countless superlatives on this beloved dry shampoo. The fine powder revives dirty hair and instantly gives your coif a much-needed volume boost. The tapered nozzle lets you expertly target and zap grease at your roots, while the zesty lemon verbena scent leaves your strands smelling fresh. And we’re not the only ones who are crazy for this essential—the experts at Allure gave it their covetable Best of Beauty Award.
This is the best dry shampoo I have tried. It is easy to use, and doesn't seem to leave as much residue as some of the dry shampoos I have tried before. And, as a bonus, it has a nice clean scent.5
I'm a sucker for a good dry shampoo. I have curly, very color-treated hair that is dry and frizzy at the ends and greasy at the roots. I can't wash my hair every day and hope that it's going to behave, so I'm always on the lookout for a good dry shampoo.
Oscar Blandi is it! It's light and nice. Distributes evenly and isn't chalky or flaky. The light, flowery citrus smell is pretty and fresh but not overpowering. It's a steep price to pay for the full size, but after I go through my sample, I'll definitely be shelling out for it.
this is the fifth dry shampoo i have tried and it is tied with another for my favorite. it has given more volume than others. the oil absorption is superior as well, allowing me to use less product on my oily tresses. the scent is a luxury bonus: lemon verbena is a personal favorite, and it gives my hair such a clean smell, which i appreciate on those days i don't shampoo. it would be my number one fave if only it was tinted for brunettes. use sparingly.5
I've tried probably every dry shampoo out there and a few that maybe aren't even well known in my quest for the perfect pick-me up to my blonde fine sometimes oily hair.
The only one I ever come back to is this one. I'm not sure why, maybe the smell, maybe the fact that it really does soak up the grease and boost my limp locks, maybe just because "Oscar Blandi" sounds so French when I say it.
Whatever the reason is, I love it, and it's the one I keep coming back to over and over. Please restock this soon. I've even tried the Oscar Blandi products and none of them compare to this. It is simply the company's signature product, the Holy Grail of dry shampoos for me.
I have used this before and several people I know. It smells great and gives good volume. wouldn't recommend using a large amount on dark hair.5
This is a nice smell and it dried up my hair and left some fun texture but no matter how much I brushed, I always felt the product on my scalp. It made me feel itchy later. I've used many other dry shampoos this one is not my favorite. Actually prefer a drugstore brand over this one. This is kind of like just using cornstarch in your hair with added fragrance.3
I purchased the full size of this product as I love dry shampoos. I must say though I wasn't happy with this one and have returned it. It is a powder form and difficult to distribute evenly. It left white powder spots in my hair where it was applied no matter how much I brushed or shook my hair out. I'll stick with aerosols from now on.2
I bought this product after watching the Birchbox tutorial on dry shampoo. I wash my hair twice a week, so I reply on dry shampoo about 4 days/week. I have a dirty blonde base, and was surprised how much of a white residue it left. It actually made my hair look gray. Plus, it didn't add much volume. I would use baby powder before purchasing this product again, mainly due to the steep price.2
This dry shampoo is the absolute best I've ever used. I'm buying my 2nd bottle today because I just finished using my first bottle. I have long blonde hair that I prefer to only wash every other day. This dry shampoo finally gives me the freedom to do this. My hair NEVER looks greasy at any point of the 2nd day all because of this great product. It's also cheaper than some of the other options. It does use a powder--rather than a spray. But, none of the sprays that I've tried work nearly as well.5
This dry shampoo definite absorbs oil. I noticed a volume lift for a bit... But it didn't last that long. Nice scent and very easy to use.4
