Fun trivia fact: in the UK, “holiday crackers” are paper tubes filled with confetti and given as party favors. Jouer brought this British tradition stateside and gave it a beauty twist. This gift-worthy set features everything you need for a festive gathering. There’s a party horn, a chic cocktail ring, a beauty fortune, mini champagne bubbles, plus one surprise deluxe sample version of Body Butter, Lip Enhancer, or Moisturizing Lip Gloss.
Tiny sample size tube of lip enhancer, cheap ring, bubbles that don't work, and pretty packaging. I was really disappointed, especially with the size of the lip enhancer. This is overpriced for what you get and the pretty packaging is nicer than anything inside. :/1
While this is cute, it is a waste of money! My holiday cracker included the lip enhancer sample (.07 oz), for two dollars more i could of had the full size product (.33 oz). Save your money!1
I ordered this just for fun because it sounded and exciting. I was HIGHLY disappointed. when I received this. The party horn is cheap, the ring is 5 sizes too big and would fit a man, the champagne bubbles are the size of my palm and the deluxe sample was the size of my pinky. I would not recommend buying because it's not worth it.1
These are kind of fun, but they definitely are overpriced. The stuff in it is pretty chincy. I gave them as stocking stuffers and it was disappointing.2
The actual thought and box are adorable, but wow was this a BUST. I got one for me and my best GF for a New Years gift and all I can say is .. wah..wah. It doesnt' even pop! or make a sound when you open it. Everything inside is just super cheapo.... like I said, great idea- but so not worth 12 dollars. I would pay 5.2
I got 7 of these for all the ladies in my family. Five of us got the lip enhancer, and two crackers didn't have the beauty sample included in the cracker :-(
There was no "pop" like a proper Christmas cracker upon opening but the packaging is beautiful. The rings were fun.
I purchased this as a small gift for myself with eyes toward getting the set to share with my girlfrieds. I know it wasn't a lot off money but I would have enjoyed a larger size sample of the product. The ring is cute but my fingers are too big so I will give it to my niece. I kinda feel like you paid for the ring and the sample was just a bonus. I don't know that I would purchase it again.2
I love the packaging and, while I think it's a bit pricey for what's included, I think it's great for Christmas gifts for the girls or New Years favors.
Here's where I was most disappointed: Birchbox was out of the four pack so I just sucked up the extra $6 and bought four individually (usually BB takes a while to get things back in stock, they are available again now). All four had the same sample: the lip enhancer. And while I'm excited to try this product, I was hoping that to open this with my mom and sister-and-law we would be able to trade and have some fun - so more variety. Nope. Looking online, most of the reviews and videos are for the lip enhancer. I wonder how many actually have the other two products?
I also wonder if by buying the four-pack they thought of this and you get more variety.
So I'm kind of bummed. Might be a better surprise/gift to just buy the lip enhancer for $2 more.
This was such a disappointment. You get a cheap cocktail ring, a piece of paper, a leaky bottle of bubbles and the best thing which was the Lip Enhancer. I would recommend just buying a Jouer product and skipping the Sparkle & Pop. Jouer products are always among my favorites but this paper tube was not really worth it. Go to the drug store and get the holiday crackers instead.2
Not worth the price. The party horn was broken and cheap, the bubbles were hard to open, the ring is HUGE but its cute. I did like the lip treatment but it was so tiny that it did not justify the price.2
