Fun trivia fact: in the UK, “holiday crackers” are paper tubes filled with confetti and given as party favors. Jouer brought this British tradition stateside and gave it a beauty twist. This gift-worthy set features everything you need for a festive gathering. There’s a party horn, a chic cocktail ring, a beauty fortune, mini champagne bubbles, plus one surprise deluxe sample version of Body Butter, Lip Enhancer, or Moisturizing Lip Gloss.
While this is cute, it is a waste of money! My holiday cracker included the lip enhancer sample (.07 oz), for two dollars more i could of had the full size product (.33 oz). Save your money!1
Most holiday crackers give an actual "pop" when opening them. This one doesn't have the thing inside to do that. It was packaged very nicely though. It had cute little bows, a gift tag, and lots of good quality circular plastic gold confetti. Would look very pretty as a party favor or stocking stuffer, even though it is a bit pricey for what you get inside. The party horn, the bubbles, and the fortune are average for what you'd expect in a party favor. I've had cheaper made crackers in the past. The sample was a lit smaller than expected. Still kinda nice. I got the lip conditioner, as I had hoped... it's smaller than my pinking and I'm less than 5 ft tall (therefore very petite). I like the quality of the lip conditioner product though. Put it on half of my lips and saw noticeable results about 30 minutes later without a tingly feeling. The ring was a heavy weight cheap coated metal. Sure to not last but great for a night. I'd like the ring a lot but for some reason the top of mine was VERY crooked. It could be designed that way but not likely, it's kinda distracting for a large white (faux marble) oval to look offset. Fits fine on middle, index, or thumb (a side from the crookedness) even on my petite hands.3
Not worth the price. The party horn was broken and cheap, the bubbles were hard to open, the ring is HUGE but its cute. I did like the lip treatment but it was so tiny that it did not justify the price.2
I ordered this just for fun because it sounded and exciting. I was HIGHLY disappointed. when I received this. The party horn is cheap, the ring is 5 sizes too big and would fit a man, the champagne bubbles are the size of my palm and the deluxe sample was the size of my pinky. I would not recommend buying because it's not worth it.1
I ordered one of these for myself to decide whether or not to order more for Christmas party favors. There adorable and girly. A nice little treat for a stocking stuffer or a Christmas girl's night out.5
