Elizabeth Arden’s apricot-hued cream is such a classic, we think it deserves a display in the Smithsonian. Developed in 1930 by the beauty maven herself, the award-winning formula enjoyed instant global success and has never gone out of style. The creamy, multi-purpose salve not only hydrates dry skin, it adds shine to lips and lids, tames unruly brows, conditions cuticles, and even soothes minor scrapes and sunburns.
This is truly the best product i encountered in a long time. So many purposes, i carry it with me all the time. Mostly use it for brows and lips but used it for scrapes and dry skin too. has a beautiful shine.5
This is basically a tube of a&d ointment.... exactly like the generic brand I smear on my babies butts for diaper rash. Don't get me wrong, it works well as lip balm, for dry patches and diaper rash, but it is WAY over priced for what it actually is. On the other hand, pulling out a tube of Elizabeth Arden skin cream instead of generic A&D ointment does look much fancier.3
I am so happy Birchbox carries this cream now, I've always had to get it from Amazon. You read so many amazing reviews of this cult classic and don't believe how great it is until you've tried it. It's heavy, on doubt about it, but worth it. With these harsh NYC winters, I put it on almost every night over serum, and although it's thick, by morning your skin will guaranteed be softer than any other moisturizer. But it gets better: use it on your hands, cuticles, feet. Not sticky, and no bad smell.5
I've struggled with eczema and this heals it! I dab it on my forehead and night and viola! It's also amazing used as a night time foot cream for dry cracked heels4
I was surprised how thick and greasy this was. I thought it would be a face lotion type cream. I think it is for very chapped times. For lips when they are very chapped. It is very expensive. Quality but I think it should be renamed.2
It's a great product. It does moisturize and everything is says it will do. My only problem is I bought the product thinking it would be a cream..like it said, but it actually is more of a Vaseline than a lotion or cream so it's oily. I use it at night rather than during the day because it is oily and gets everywhere if you aren't cautious.4
I think it does what its says. Not an everyday product for me so I kinda forget about it. Super strong.
I bought this with some hesitation, because it seemed a little too good to be true. However, I am so happy I did! I love it! I use it all the time- lips, elbows, face, feet..pretty much all over. I also use a retinoic acid product on my face and it leaves my skin flaky- and this is perfect as a moisturizer. I'm always raving about how great it and often tell my friends about using it. Elizabeth Arden makes timeless products and this is one of them. With winter coming up I will buy a few - also a great stocking stuffers or for the holidays or 'just because gifts'5
This product does it all! Lips, dry patches, taming hair flyaways, cuticles- the list goes on and on. I really enjoy this the most on my lips during the cooler and drier months. I highly recommend this product. While you may think it is a little pricey, it lasts for ever.5
I ALWAYS have a hard time with chapped lips...no matter HOW much serums, etc. I put on! BUT with this, seriously, over night, they were smoothed and ready for lipstick. The smell on this stuff is kinda strong, not super pleasant BUT considering its been a beauty staple for 70+ years, I can get over that! I've also used it on my cuticles, and hands. I'm a fan!4
