Elizabeth Arden’s apricot-hued cream is such a classic, we think it deserves a display in the Smithsonian. Developed in 1930 by the beauty maven herself, the award-winning formula enjoyed instant global success and has never gone out of style. The creamy, multi-purpose salve not only hydrates dry skin, it adds shine to lips and lids, tames unruly brows, conditions cuticles, and even soothes minor scrapes and sunburns.
I have used this product for many years on and off. It truly is a classic favorite for healing dry skin and is very moisturizing.5
I put this on and was skeptical because it felt sort of greasy and thick. But I woke up the next morning with dewy skin! I love it!5
This product can be used for many purposes. I have applied to my dry lips. I also applied a tiny amount to my eyelids and it kept my eye shadow in place5
Non greasy and light yet delivers a real kick of moisture. I like that you can use it on your lips as well. Goes on smooth and does not leave your hands with that over lotioned feel.5
I have used the eight hour cream for years, and it has always worked wonders on my dry chapped lips. During high school and college swim seasons it was perfect for super dry skin, and is a winter time staple in my beauty regime.5
This is a great balm for healing skin that is stressed. I use it on cracked heels and peeling lips in the winter (it is great overnight), and year round, i use it on my cuticles. When I get sick and am blowing my nose a lot and end up with red, irritated skin on my nose, I put 8 hour on the irritated skin at night, and by morning it is soft and calm again. This is too thick for me for daily use but incredible at soothing and healing dry, irritated skin.5
I already use this product and love it. It is thick but a little goes a long way, especially when mixed with a moisturizer. I used this product when I used to ride motorcycles with my husband. I noticed a lot of women who ride motorcycles get that weathered look and I was determined to protect my skin. I mixed it with my moisturizer and applied it to my face and neck before applying my makeup. I then mixed it with my sunscreen and used it on all exposed parts like hands, arms, legs, etc. It kept my skin from getting beaten by the wind and from the pollutants in the air. We don't ride motorcycles anymore but we spend time outdoors in our open jeep so I will continue to use this product. I would recommend it for anyone who participates in any kind of outdoor sports, especially those that involve wind. I also recommend it for the whole family to prevent hand and cheek chapping on cold windy days, and at the beach after swimming to prevent chapping on the inner thighs. This product doesn't have an aroma, which I miss and would prefer it did. It is a great product.5
Great for my eczema. Also great for even burns or cuts.5
I would never apply this cream to my face, it is just to heavy. I would use it as I believe it is attended as a healing cream for damaged skin. I have been using this cream on my hands and lips and I love it. The smell is not so great but if you are using a little at a time no big deal.5
I pretty much love anything in this brand. Everything is always pretty reliable.5
