Elizabeth Arden’s apricot-hued cream is such a classic, we think it deserves a display in the Smithsonian. Developed in 1930 by the beauty maven herself, the award-winning formula enjoyed instant global success and has never gone out of style. The creamy, multi-purpose salve not only hydrates dry skin, it adds shine to lips and lids, tames unruly brows, conditions cuticles, and even soothes minor scrapes and sunburns.
This product is timeless! Years ago I used it as my daily lip balm. Now I keep it around and use it "as advertised" for cuticles, feet, scrapes, and sunburns and always for my lips when I want extra protection. Why bother with more products, when one works for all!5
Absolutely IN LOVE with this product. My box came in the week after a weekend spent in the wind. My face was horribly dry and this cream felt like heaven on my face! Have told all of my friends and will continue too!5
I've been fighing keratosis pilaris (those tiny, annoying, red bumps) on my lower legs for years. I've tried every product known to man and this is the first one that actually WORKS! In under a week my legs are almost completely clear and I couldn't be more thrilled.
That said, the product description is a bit misleading. This is not a regular moisturizer. It's an ointment made for treating extremely dry or damaged skin. Oh, and it smells funny. Even the unscented version still has that medicinal smell...but it works wonders on my skin, so who cares!?!?
This smells a little strange and feels like a thick vasoline with a bit of rose colored tint. But once you get past the smell and consistency it absorbs into the skin and leaves it looking dewy and moist. Can't beat that.5
There's a reason this cream has been around forever--it really works as a "go to" moisturizer with endless uses, from chapped lips to dry, ragged cuticles. Hands a mess? Lather on the Eight Hour Cream and sleep in a pair of cotton gloves. Ditto for feet with dry, rough heels. No, it's not the latest trend, but "tried and true" earns that reputation for a reason.5
this cream is great and i love that it has a protection element5
I try the eight hour skin protectant . I my just buy this skin cream soon.5
This product is really great if you have super dry, chapped-looking skin. Honestly first impressions I was completely against it. It smelled awful, was sticky, looked like goo, had a weird color to it, and was really thick. I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT! But then I told myself I need to give a full review of this so its fair. Well, I woke up the next morning and my legs were beautiful! IT LOOKED LIKE I HAD JUST PUT ON LOTION BUT IT WASNT ALL AWKWARDLY STICKY! And then when I got home it was still GORGEOUS!!! Long story short: I just finished repurchasing this so that should tell you how amazing of a product this is since I just said all of the things I didnt like about it5
I used this cream on my sore red nose, due to a cold. I applied at bedtime and woke up with a much improved nose...the redness and dryness were gone.5
love it, super moisturizing. at first i thought it would stay greasy, but it soaks in quickly.5
