Elizabeth Arden’s apricot-hued cream is such a classic, we think it deserves a display in the Smithsonian. Developed in 1930 by the beauty maven herself, the award-winning formula enjoyed instant global success and has never gone out of style. The creamy, multi-purpose salve not only hydrates dry skin, it adds shine to lips and lids, tames unruly brows, conditions cuticles, and even soothes minor scrapes and sunburns.
I felt like I had just used a can of Vaseline on my skin. I threw away the remainder of my samples1
I was not impressed with this product. It was too Thick and Greasy to use even in small amounts. It probably does work well for really dry skin but it takes too long to rub in for my taste.1
This product might be awesome at what it does, but i just couldn't get over the smell. I put it in my lips one night before I went to bed and had to get up and wash it off. it seemed to hydrate while it was on... but that wasn't for very long.1
I have really dry skin and it does a good job in hydrating my skin. I use it for my ashy elbows and my chapped lips. I like this product because it's multi-purpose meaning I can use it for just about anything including sunburns!5
i use this cream on my lips before bed and it lasts until i wake up in the morning...it does smell a bit medicinal but i like it. i also use it on my dry skin and its been helping thus far...really happy with this product!5
This stuff is great for everything! Is heals anything that is super chapped or dry. It is very thick so a little goes a long way!4
I used this sample to moisturize my dry cuticles because I tend to get a lot of hangnails, but I can't say that it helped a whole lot. Maybe I need to use it more often, but I do not like the odd smell of the product and it's more greasy than I would like.3
Smelled awful and was sticky. I tried some on my face and immediately washed it off- did not feel good. Glad I had a sample because I would be very disappointed if I actually bought this.1
I would have loved to have been able to try this cream for all the different purposes mentioned, however, I simply could not STAND the smell of it! As soon as I moisturized with it, I had to wash it off. Even after that, the smell lingered. Wish I could report on effectiveness, but just not possible for me.2
a cult product? for years, i've heard about it's magical powers. and i'm sure it works wonders.
you will love it - IF - you can get past the smell of gasoline. if you're into that sort of thing, it's awesome. i prefer aquaphor, it's got no aroma, does the trick, and costs 1/3 of the price.
nostalgia, you didn't sell me this time.
