Lip gloss vs. lipstick? It’s a debate that never gets old. While we love a bold, matte lipstick, we can’t deny the sheer, easy finish of gloss. Cargo’s new lip gloss—which comes in gorgeous hues like Big Sur, a mauve rose, and a shimmery pink called Woodstock—delivers the brilliant shine of a gloss, plus the long-lasting color of a lipstick. Bonus: It also keeps lips hydrated all day long.
This lip gloss is like butter! Not stickey or gooey. Glides on nice and stays put. The wand feels a little flimsy, but it's a great application.3
The old (previous formulas) were sticky. The new formula is better and easier to wear - without that stickyness.
I didn't like the color that came with my birchbox, but overall this is a decent - average to above average gloss.
Nothing to really complain about, it was a nice texture, didn't have an off-putting fragrance, the color was ok, but I didn't LOVE it. I'm not really picky on lipgloss though, so I'm sure those more particular would have been more impressed.3
While I did not care for the color that came in my Birchbox, I would totally consider purchasing this lip gloss in another color. It felt great on my lips, not sticky at all, but with long lasting moisture. One drawback, while the moisture lasted for a long time, the color faded after about an hour - not a big deal for me - as I am a reapplyer.3
This gloss was moisturizing and made my lips feel good but the color was not good for me. Might try clear if available.3
I liked the color of the Cargo lip gloss and the taste. It feels good on my lips. But, I want a product with SPF in it.3
I think I would have liked the product more if it came in a different color. However, my main reason for not liking it was the smell. I get bothered by smells very easily and this one was constant. If you like gloss that has fragrance you may like this product.3
I got this in my first ever Birchbox, and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. The color I received is Route 66 and it sort of a muted watermelon color. Honestly there is nothing particularly special about this gloss - it is very similar to most lip glosses with applicators that I've tried. One down side is that it doesn't taste great - a bit like soap.3
This is a good product -- long-lasting and nice moisturising properties. The peachy color looked kind of weird with my skin, so I don't think I'll be using it much.3
I think this product is too thick and goopy. The color is good (Sunset Blvd), but I like light feeling lip products, and this is not one of those. Also, too much comes out with the applicator, so I find myself blotting to remove half of it once I get it on.3
