Lip gloss vs. lipstick? It’s a debate that never gets old. While we love a bold, matte lipstick, we can’t deny the sheer, easy finish of gloss. Cargo’s new lip gloss—which comes in gorgeous hues like Big Sur, a mauve rose, and a shimmery pink called Woodstock—delivers the brilliant shine of a gloss, plus the long-lasting color of a lipstick. Bonus: It also keeps lips hydrated all day long.
I like the product, even if it was a bit sticky to wear. I just truly wish Birchbox would choose shades based on skin tones indicated in client's profiles. More often than not, I'm finding that colors chosen for me aren't exactly the best for my skine tone & it's just disappointing especially when you particularly enjoy the product sent3
I received this in a box awhile back. I was excited for the shade, as it was a neutral color. But I found the texture and taste not appealing. It was really sticky and I just hate that in a gloss lately. I would much rather use another lipgloss3
It's a great gloss. Not sticky which is always a plus. I purchased the color "Sunset Blvd". I have fair skin and it washes me out. It is lighter than the color it looks like. It just doesn't work for me.4
Pretty color you don't need any lipstick or lip liner under it makes your lips look fuller. I like how the color changes in the light! The lip gloss lasted a long time on my lips too!4
this lip gloss is great because it's not too sticky. the colors are beautiful but not too opaque. i actually took a nap in my gloss the other day and it hadn't budged or rubbed off when i woke up.4
I like the gloss, but did not feel the color matched the photo. I bought Woodstock.... alittle more melon color !!!!4
Got a pale pink cargo lip gloss in an IPSY bag and hated it but it's not so bad that it's not completely junk.
It's a thick, very sticky formula that doesn't wear well.
I decided to purchase this product to try a new lip gloss, even though there are several favorite products I already use from Birchbox. I should have stuck with the familiar: this is *very* small tube of gloss (I've received samples that are larger), and it spreads thinly and does not deliver the color of a stick or the "brilliant shine" of a gloss, as promised. It was not worth the money.2
I have never tried Cargo lip gloss before. I absolutely love it. Feels so nice and glides on so easily. Very pretty!5
I know it's gloss and not lacquer but I wish the color had been richer, bolder. Otherwise, the coverage is good, easily applied, not sticky or gloopy. The applicator is well constructed.3
