You know those old-fashioned doughnuts you find at farmers’ markets and small-town diners? The ones that are light as air, just sweet enough, and begging to be dunked in a cup of coffee or hot cider? Stonewall Kitchen brings them home for you with this easy, delicious mix. You’ll be hard-pressed not to make these a daily recurrence.
Strange bitter taste and aftertaste which I have never experienced with cider doughnuts. Did not bake evenly or well despite following directions to the letter. Hoping that the gingerbread ones are better or guess who is gifting her boxes of doughnut mix this holiday season?1
I bought these at the store. They were yummy. Moist with pretty good flavor. Not quite as good as the apple cider doughnuts you get an apple orchard but it filled that craving fairly well.4
I am a huge fan of Stonewall Kitchen and the brand. This product is just like any of their others, delicious and worth buying. These donuts are simple to make and taste great.4
I bought these doughnuts at a store. I had been wanting to make apple cider doughnuts for a while after finding a recipe online, andi figured out of a box would be just as good. Wrong! They weren't completly horrid, but there was a very strange flavor that I personally did not like at all. Then it left a sour aftertaste in my mouth. They were dry, and just overall not my favorite. I will say my dad liked them, but he likes anything covered in butter and sugar.1
