These finely pressed shadows come in a rainbow of hues, from subtle neutrals to pop-tastic brights. They blend easily, and last all day without fading — what more could you want? Go ahead, start experimenting!
Already a fan of the regular pan Stila eyeshadows, I was looking to replace one in my palette that was a different line that come with some unexpectedly large glitter chunks. Back to to the regular line I went and chose espresso - a color I didn't have in my lineup. In the pan it has a milk chocolate color and subtle sheen, and in swatch a slightly grayer, more matte appearance. I knew then it would make an awesome smokey eye. I used a UD eye primer, a generic pale shade all over the lid, Stila Puppy as the transition shade and then worked in little patches smoking out the Espresso shade. Amazing. I could smoke where I wanted to, and build intensity where I wanted to, and with the UD eye primer it lasted 16hrs. Very pleased.5
I was so excited to try this eyeshadow and now it's a holy grail item in my book. It's sparkly, but it doesn't have chunky glitters in it. The only downside is that there is some fall-out so put foundation on after you've applied the eyeshadow.4
I have a lot of shadows that I 'thought' were this color and when I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this one, I was waiting to be unimpressed. This one lives up to the hype! It's pigment is perfect, it lasts all day and well into the night, and it stays where I put it. It blends really well with my other shadows and really pops on the lid. LOVE it!5
I bought this specifically for use at a semi-formal I'm attending and used it this morning for my work makeup. I love it. It goes on really well-- it stuck to my eyelid without any primer and was easy to distribute across my eye. It's very shimmery, but the color (Kitten) is a champagne color and not overly bold. I love it.5
I kept seeing Kitten touted as one of those universal products that anyone can wear, so I bought it. I have fair, pink-toned skin, and this was waaaay too shimmery and pale for me. It didn't enhance my eyes or offer any color, just shine. I focused so much on being disappointed in the color that I didn't pay attention to the performance (creasing, application, long wear, etc.), so I can't say whether another shade might be better.3
I bought this in prize, which is a great color. However, it broke during shipping. That was disappointing. Thankfully I save sifter jars, so I was able to re-pot it. Prize is a shimmery neutral with works well for the brow bone area. Just be aware that it might not travel well.4
I heard so much about this shadow and it is worth the hype! Super pigmented and buttery. Blends well and can double as a highlight.
I've never tried Stila eyeshadows before--this one provides a great, natural, neutral coverage. I will definitely purchase more of these to try in the future--a higher quality of shadow really does work better!5
I love this brand and I Love the shade. Subtle and goes with everything. Affordable as well! I would highly recommend it.5
Stila makes excellent eye shadows. I have several of these in different colors. They are long wearing, especially when used with a primer, and comparable to more expensive brands.5
