Already a fan of the regular pan Stila eyeshadows, I was looking to replace one in my palette that was a different line that come with some unexpectedly large glitter chunks. Back to to the regular line I went and chose espresso - a color I didn't have in my lineup. In the pan it has a milk chocolate color and subtle sheen, and in swatch a slightly grayer, more matte appearance. I knew then it would make an awesome smokey eye. I used a UD eye primer, a generic pale shade all over the lid, Stila Puppy as the transition shade and then worked in little patches smoking out the Espresso shade. Amazing. I could smoke where I wanted to, and build intensity where I wanted to, and with the UD eye primer it lasted 16hrs. Very pleased.
